It was a great game. Walk it off, onto the next one. Build upon it for the Giants Thursday!

Thoughts Cousins? Special teams? Lots of chirping and tough hits?

We might survive but we can't really afford a major DHall injury.

Yes it was a good game, just the wrong score. Forbath seemed to choke when the game was on the line. Well, he did this time on a relatively easy FG. Cousins played well although I thought he made some questionable/bad throws, especially on the last drive . I only got to see the second half so am making my judgment on that. It also seemed like the ref's were doing their best to nudge the game towards the eagles. It seemed that everytime ther Redskins got the Egles stopped, the refs called some penalty. I saw some Philly holds that were not called.

D-Hall tore his Achilles. Jesus, that's some major pain to deal with.

;furious; ;furious; ;furious; ;furious; ;furious; ;furious; ;furious;

That's a tricky injury to come back from if it was blown. CT knows more about these things then me though, so I'll wait for his insights.

Could this mean the end for DHall? Just thinking about his age and the nature of the injury.

Just when I develop a deep respect for the man...

Did Cousins make the offensive line look better today? I think so, there were no sacks and he made quick rhythm passes for over 400 yds. This should be enough to win ball games.

I was very encouraged by Cousins in the offense today, he was even sharper than against Jacksonville. I think he's close to 650 yards, 5 TD's, 75 points, a lot of long drives and 1 pick in his 2 games this season. It was unfortunate his teammates gave up 37 points today but I think the Skins can and will win the division behind Cousins. Even after today I still think the defense is better than it has been in years and will be enough to backup the Gruden/Cousins juggernaut. I think #8 will be starting for the next decade and Gruden is going to have a long run in DC.

Yes, it's funny how our offensive line has improved so much these last couple of games.

Houston has a pass rusher or two that is a little more than the norm. I know that wouldn't make a difference to you but even RG3 hatters would admit Kirk would have had an aweful day himself.

You can't compare backyard bob to real nfl QBs. Come on, man!

His day today was pretty full of awe, and he had a solid game last week. I would imagine he could've filled us with awe in the Houston game, as well.

We sure do seem to be piling up some incredible injuries here.

I could imagine too. It didn't happen though so I coulnd't say for sure that Cousins would have "awed" us.

You are right. I never learn. I try but logic gets in the way.

WOW - missed the game and had to watch on replay ...
it's now 8pm - I am very pleased - we are looking like a team again

disappointing result but the team showed a lot - Cousins played well and the defense held up against a really good offense

hated to lose but loved seeing the progress this team has made

Cousins is OK - we'll be fine with him at QB until Griffin can get back :D

Kirk looked good but Foles outplayed him and made more plays. I feel he has improved from last year in just the variety of throws he is now making. Only problem I have ever had with him was his turnovers but he appears to be fixing that problem.

You would like for Gruden to put less pressure on him and throw less but I guess he feel he can handle it.

Special Teams continue to haunt us.

Breeland will have to step up and fast!

Raheem Morris...what yall think about him?

He knows better than me but I hate seeing the way we play so far back in the secondary.

Cousins was not on the field at the same time as Foles - how can one 'outplay' the other ...

I thought both played well - we're lucky to have Cousins

I think there is reason to be optimistic. The team looked good and will only get better, including Cousins. Kai has had an injury so long it seems, any attractive kickers out there in free-agency? Try out some rookies in practice squad?

And I know we tried a rookie kicker with the draft. Its just wishful thinking

Connor Barth? I don't know many kickers.

I like how there is no new complaints to be made about this team. The secondary and ST have been questionable for years now, and they continue to haunt us. However, looking past that, I agree that there is plenty to be happy about, regardless of a loss.

How many teams can hold the Eagles to under 50 rushing yards? That deserves bragging rights.

Cousins would have won the Houston game in my opinion. He played against Watt in college and did fine because he knows what to do, Griffin was the problem not Watt or the line.
