Have you been hearing about the NFL gathering together from ESPN or other reporters? Welker and Gordon possibly being reinstated...at 9pm today they were supposed to have a vote.

Well basically it fell through. Seems to me being useless hype about new drug testing.

The player reps agreed the latest proposal was not worthy of a vote that would require 17 yes votes to be enacted.

They also approved a league proposal to significantly increase the threshold for positive marijuana tests. Some players have complained that the NFL threshold of 15 nanograms per milliliter is so low that anyone within the vicinity of people smoking marijuana could test positive. The threshold has been increased to 35 ng/ml.

Overall changes are retroactive for players suspended under previous policies, as well as for those in the appeal process.

I wonder what that means for Fred Davis and Tanard Jackson. I know the Redskins have cut ties with them, but could this lead to their reinstatement in the league?

Yeah I saw the weed part of the testing. Ite more appropriate and still not allowing daily usage. Did those two players have a very low weed positive test? I know Davis had other problems, not sure about him. But Reed is out for a few weeks.
