Univ. of Minnesota had no problems with the Redskins on the schedule when they accepted the check for 6 million. Do they think the throwback uniforms are not REDSKINS throwback uni's?

This kinda crap will force a name change, I'm afraid. I will be there with my Redskins gear on, however!

There's repetition, there's beating a dead horse, and then there's the Washington Redskins name debate.

I'm looking at the Redskins store and one of the new shirts has the BIGGEST logo that I have ever seen on it. I'm getting one just to annoy people.

Out of the three American Indians or (American Natives) I have been friends with and asked, they all either said they weren't offended (nonfootball fans) or thought it was an honor. It was just 3 though not thousands.
Just my take on it. I could care less what others think about it unless they are native American (or American Indians as some preferred to be called) that have nothing to do with political or Casino ties.

It is a novel idea but unfortunately when you wear a Redskin hat or read the papers or listen to the radio or look online or just talk football it is everywhere. I can't promise to tune everything out but it is a novel idea.

Somebody had a brilliant post on here, can't remember who right now, who defended the name because it wasn't used in the wrong context. I agree 100%.
