It's hard to believe the Redkins are playing a football game tonight. Even if it is just the preseason, I'm pumped.

Yeah, me too!

It's been a loooooooooooong off-season, just seeing my beloved Skins suited-up and ready to go will be a thrill.

Very keen to see the rookies in action. Ryan Grant could be in for a big night potentially, he's shone in camp and now with Garcon and DJax unlikely to figure he should get the chance to make some plays with the 1st team. Lache, Moses, Murphy, Breeland, Long - who will surprise and who will disappoint...??? And could Kai really lose his job to Zach..?!!?

11 hours to go (and counting...)

PSYCHED. I read this morning that Brady isn't playing at all. Smart move by the Pats.

Why isn't he playing? That sucks for us. I wanted to see the first team D against him, not his understudy.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will not play in tonight's preseason game against the Washington Redskins.

An ESPN report cited the joint practices between the Redskins and Patriots this week, noting that Brady had already received a higher workload that he traditionally would in the first week of the preseason.

Our third year franchise QB is only getting a series or two in this first preseason game. So its not that surprising they don't feel the need to trot their 15 year HOF QB out there. I know what you're saying though about wanting to see him play vs. our D. I'm sure Rak would have liked the chance to get after him for real tonight too!!!

Somewhere out there, Bacarri Rambo is breathing a huge sigh of relief...

HTTR

Who has high expectations and who has tempered them down to what this is? Pre-season

Win or loss I could care less.. mistakes or no im not judging hard.. im most looking fwd to how coach acts on the sideline and how he manages the game. I have to say shannysons play calling got old fast and the angry coach look is something im glad to be rid of. The new attitude and motivation this team has will be the best change for the franchise IMO

I think I read an Orakpo quote yesterday where he said something like, "We were 4-0 in the preseason last year and we all know how that turned out!" lol.

Anyway, I'm still psyched to see some real Redskins football. Even if its Colt McCoy lighting up a bunch of nobodies in the 4th quarter.

Yeah ... and getting torched by Brady could be rationalized but getting torched by Mallett (heaven forbid) would truly bite the wang while sacking him into submission could be explained away as "Well, it wasn't Brady."

Still pumped. I'll be watching the ends on our defensive front three as well as our RT on offense.

Brady or not - it's an NFL pre-season game and the Redskins are playing

I'm looking forward to it and I'm not worried about the score because it means squat

Yes. The least important stat of the night will clearly be the final score.

I think that's the pregame show, not the actual game.

I'll be keeping an eye on Trent Murphy and I guess we will see if Rambo has learned to tackle any better. Too bad we wont have our best receivers out there at all.

Can't wait to see how the oline does. I'd love to see RGIII with some time to read through his progressions tonight. I'm also curious to see the battle for the 3rd rb spot.

What sucks is the game is televised by the Pats. Hoping radio & TV are synched up.

Positive start. Lots of runs. Let's see some blocking for that passing game though.

I paused the video stream for a few seconds and got a close enough synch. If you go too far, hit the live button and try again.

Robinson has looked good IMO He had to play a little defense and knocked the ball out. He caught one for a TD

Yeah Robinson has looked good. Wonder where he'll be on the WR roster spot
