Warriors is lame. Redhawks and change the tint of the hair on the logo to a bit burgundy. Or Braves or Scouts or Sons of Washington as in the fight song

Aside from all the history, I actually like Warriors better than Redskins. Also you can sing Hail to the Warriors without totally screwing up our song.

Really though I think Snyder should make a statement, give the finger to everyone and go European football style. Call the team Washington FC.

I think Braves could be the most logical with the team originating as the Boston Braves... However, I think we should fight to keep noir team name until the bloody end!!

Back when he wrote for the WaPo, Kornheiser made this suggestion which I think is brilliant. Washington Redskins (Potatoes), we could call them the Spuds....

I'd love for them to keep the Redskin name and have a spud mascot. It'd piss so many people off.
