What's the word on this guy? Is he even talked about in our Safety line up for the future? Dhall wants to play safety?
This guy is 6'1 and maybe a strong athlete. We just don't know yet. I'd love to have BIG safeties and corners (ala Seahawks)...

Seriously I am crossing my fingers. Thomas was supposed to be good. Hopefully he has healed up and he is training hard.

We won't know anything until OTA's start. He had a very serious injury, so don't expect too much.

Sorry to resurrect this, but I'm really hoping Thomas is doing well. I haven't heard anything about him in the news, so I'm a little worried about his progress.

RICHMOND – As he has watched Phillip Thomas through five training camp practices, a couple of things in particular have stood out to defensive backs coach Raheem Morris.

For one, Thomas has fully regained the athleticism and quickness that made him an all-American safety at Fresno State in 2012 and prompted Washington to draft him in the fourth round in 2013.

Read that article this morning - REALLY encouraging news about Thomas. Keep your fingers crossed!

With Amerson starting at CB this year and the possibility of Thomas taking over at safety at some point, I wouldn't say I feel *better* about our secondary, but I definitely like the direction. Young, talented guys we drafted and developed to take over those positions.

Anyone know the deal with this guy? I recently read he is heading back to Dr. Andrews to get his foot looked at again. If his foot hasn't fully healed in a year, then I think it might be a chronic issue, to the point where he may need to look for another line of work.

Ot was a liz franc sx.. not sure "what the deal is" but he has some pain and they are looking into it. Hopefully its something minor like removing some scar tissue and we finally see qhat hes got. Coach said he is out tomorrow.
