Sorry for the delay getting this out. I'm on vacation with my family, all their spouses and children in the outer banks, and frankly I haven't even really been thinking about THN these last few days, even with Shanny getting fired. But I have obligation to the THN community. So here we go.

First let me say congratulations to Darth, our first repeat champ. Great year! You were at the top or very near the entire season. Here are the final scores, for the record:



Now, we have a tie situation at the #12 spot, so Darth, if you could tell me which one won under the Monday night, tie-break rules, that player will be the one to move on. Also, some of you did not use your THN name, so if you could tell us who you are, that'd be great.

This year, rather than have conferences, we are just going to have a tournament of these 12 players. The top four seeds get a bye. Then 12 will play at 5, 11 @ 6, 10 @ 7, and 9 @ 8.

Home field advantage is given by making the visiting team pick first. There will be two deadlines for getting picks in, one for the visitors and one for the home team. This week the visitors' deadline is 12:00 NOON, EST on Friday. Normally, it would be earlier, but I'm getting a late start. You are picking the winner of each game, and a point total for the entire weekend. Once a visitor has made his picks, he can change his picks as often as he'd like, up until the home team has made his picks, EVEN IF THE VISITORS' DEADLINE HAS NOT PASSED. The home team can not make their picks until the visiting team has done so, or the visiting team's deadline has passed. But once the home team has picked, the visiting team's picks are locked. The home team's picks don't lock until five minutes before the first game of the weekend (the home team's deadline). There is one new wrinkle this year. The home team's total score prediction can not be an even number difference from the visiting team's total. (Visitors say 121, home team can't say 123. This way, no ties) Whole numbers only.

I'm fairly sure you're playing me but you could be up against Countertrey - whichever, you & Justice Hog are at "home" ...

I just did some calculations. gushogs gets in ahead of blowwad for a better overall performance on MNF point predicitons. For the same reason, Justice Hog is the #7 seed and Irn Bru is the #8 seed.

Dude, if you don't want to play, then don't. I don't want to promote someone into the tournament that didn't earn it. Don't lay this off on me, when you are the one who is choosing not to participate. Besides, we allow hognostitraitors to play in the regular season, why should I force them out now?

One more than thing. TRO beat me in the Hognosti-Bowl one year, so a known hognostitraitor has won before. This competition is strictly a diversion only. Only the regular season winner counts, and that was DarthMonk, not a nasty hognostitraitor.

On top of that, the only traitor left may lose this weekend and then what, RiC just gives gus a bye? Seems awfully upset for a free pool on a fan forum.

Of course, I've gotten upset a few times here too but after I cooled off, I felt pretty foolish.

One other thing, maybe david jenkins (the traitor) was just being machiavellian. He could change his handle to The Prince.
