Some advice: Don't just pick the best players that week, but the players that will advance (hell, if you're REALLY brave/confident, take the best players from your projected Super Bowl teams).

That's exactly what I did.

I'm currently #54 in the world. I have QB Manning, RB Lynch, RB Moreno, WR Thomas, WR Decker, TE Thomas, K Prater, and DEF Seattle. A lot of guys in front of me had 49R players.
Please wish me luck.

That's really good. The only problem is that #54 is really more like #2054, because they don't count all the ties as positions ahead of you.
I didn't use the correct strategy, or I might be up there with you. SEA-DEN were my SB picks from the get-go, but I didn't think you'd get the multiplier week 2 if the player didn't play week 1, so I didn't take any players who had a bye in the first round. I also screwed up by not making my picks until after the first game had started in both the first two weeks, so that limited who I could pick up in the second round (no Seahawks). And I couldn't bring myself to drop the 49ers (Gore and Davis) on my roster because of the multiplier. Next year, I'll do better.

^^^ True about the ties but not THAT bad. Also, a lot ahead of me are toast b/c they had 49Rs and Pats.
