The following is from an article posted by SI. If/when the QB dictates who the Head Coach will be, you can trun out the lights, its over!

"As the Redskins’ 2013 season deteriorates, reports have surfaced of turmoil inside the organization, locker room and coaching staff. Now Robert Griffin III and his father have become targets for blame. Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports that a “hardheaded” Robert Griffin III and and his “interfering” father have become problems for embattled head coach Mike Shanahan and his staff.

An example of Griffin’s stubbornness reportedly came to a head in a recent game. After an errant pass forced the Redskins to punt, quarterback coach Matt La Fleur told RGIII that part of the problem with the throw was his poor footwork.

As LaFleur continued to talk, Griffin grew impatient and brushed off the instruction.

Cole reports that Griffin’s father has become a nuisance to the Redskins, acting like the college stage dad that some people warned NFL executives about before the 2012 draft."

"Sources say..." or "a source has said..." bullcrap.

I have seen more media spin and attempts to fan this into a forest fire that I wouldn't take any of it as reality anymore.

All I can say is; if this IS true? Then we, as fans, are screwed. We are stuck with the love of a team that most of us inherited from our dads and grandads, and it's a team that is mismanaged, poorly-coached, and owned by a complete moron- an uber-rich fan who has no understanding of the game and how successful teams succeed.

It appears to me the media people close to the team have seen this for a long time and finally feel safe to come out with stories about it. Griffin is a full blown prima donna and if there is a coaching change I think he and his dad are going to have issues with the next guy also. I think Snyder probably runs through at least on other coach before he acknowledges that Griffin is another on of his busts. Although in fairness to Snyder he must have made tens of millions on the merchandise sales. So Griffin is only a bust from the results on the field point of view.

Yes, rookie of the year is certainly a prerequisite for being a bust.

Cam Newton was a bust his second year too. :)

Being rookie of the year and what another random QB did in his second year won't help us moving forward --- which is what we're concerned with. After all, wasn't Vince Young Offensive ROY in 2006????

This is the 2nd story about RGIII's dad sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. I'm not sure I buy into it, but after reading multiple reports from different sources, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being true. And if it does, I would strongly consider a transition before things get worse than they already are.

Oh I see. But labeling our first round draft pick QB a bust because he didn't play up to his first year's standards after coming off major knee surgery is somehow going to help us move forward? =D> I know you don't think that. But that's what those comments were in response to.

I'm not seriously that concerned about what coach RGIII's dad prefers. My whole response to this story is: so what? This isn't the NCAA. Nobody in the Redskins is consulting RGII on what coach they're hiring or not hiring. This seems like a non-story unlike the deal where RGII was in the locker room after a game.

even the 'report' about Robert's dad being in the locker room were way over blown and mis-interpreted … he was concerned for his son and left soon after

Robert Griffin II should buy his own franchise if he wants any say in how one is managed or coached

again - I seriously doubt that this is even close to the facts - more BS and OTT reporting by our DC media :D

why does the media not make a big deal about Archie Manning blatantly interfering with both of his sons NFL business

I don't disagree with this but it has been reported where RG3 has said he expects a new coach in 2014. Wonder why he would say this when Shanny has said he would not resign.

OK - let's take this slowly …

markshark84 - why even state the obvious - that is a ridiculous assumption - NOBODY thinks that

SKINS#1 - you do understand that Robert really does not know anything about Mike's status - RIGHT?

- you're not really wondering about anything that Mike's 'reported' to have said - RIGHT?

- you're really not placing any validity on 'reports' by DC media - RIGHT?

help us out here :D

If they hire Briles, the locker room will be destroyed. I just hate the idea of hiring this guy.

At least we can take comfort in the fact that all of this will look very silly in the rear-view mirror.

Yeah especially when a lot of this stuff is coming from like "bleacher report". Who knows where these rumors come from?

Ooooh....

 for some of us - it's been almost as bad here, for many weeks now, as the play by the Redskins has been on the field ….

I'm just as down as anyone else on the board but folks... Come to your senses. Stop overreacting to every report. If you simply pay attention to all of the "leaks", you can tell that some are just not true. Hell, the "leaks" are starting to contradict themselves. That alone should tell you that there's some BS floating around.

- This week, RGII wants Briles.
- A week or two ago listening to ESPN980 on the drive home, it was reported that RGII had issues with Briles and that it would stop him from becoming a candidate if there is a vacancy here.

So which one is it? Which one will you guys choose to loose your **** over for the next day or two? Pick one and stay on that side of the fence, or end up looking dumb. Correct me if I'm wrong but when did THE BLEACHER REPORT become a credible source? Because, this is where it leaked right? At least, that was the initial source I saw. Folks need clicks and ad revenue, anything coming out of DC is believable and they're taking advantage of it.

I did NOT state the above. I was misquoted. Riggofan was actually the person who made the comment. Go back and actually read the thread. The quote was not only inaccurately attributed to me, but it was also taken out of context as Riggofan was responding to a quote actually made by me.

Regardless, you state the obvious on a daily basis --- so I'm not sure why you'd have an issue with it anyway...........

More evidence that these reports are bogus... They're unfounded. Honestly, the writers should be held accountable for just blatantly making false accusations... Some of you guys need to get a grip too.

I would happily provide my thoughts on what this "report" smells like, what this "reporter" can do with this "report" and a terse metaphor for what I liken this "report" to, but the rules of the board obligate me otherwise.

I am pleasantly surprised to see this board reacting with a great big "what the _ _ _ _ever" to this report.

OK - I am going to try and not react so strongly to all the BS 'reports' and 'theorizing'- it really is laughable what some have come up with

What's even more funny is when you hear reports "from a Bleacher Report source". Quoting a Bleacher Report writer should be grounds for termination

They pretty much allow anyone off the internet to be "writers". Sad.
