April 11, 2004
The latest draft scoop is the Raiders and Redskins already might have a silent agreement to make a draft-day deal.

Ahhh.... This is just a bunch of BS....... sounds like FOX is just tryin to out rumor the rumor, with there "already might have" statement..... I mean Samuels is already worth a 1rst rounder..... and then were gonna give up another High 1rst for one player....

....... Where gonna take the only worthy pick we got this year.... and not improve our team at all....yeah, right

Maybe with cap numbers we have on this roster the next few years, the FO feels it has to free up space and this is the only way to do it and increase the talent level at the same time. However, we are missing out on some tremendous players by giving away all our draft picks in what could be the best draft ever in my opinion.

This has to be BS. There is no way this deal can go through. Why would we trade Samuels just to move up two spots? We could easily trade him for a much sweeter deal.

I still think this is a rumor that is wacked... I just don't see it happening. It will cost us 9 mil to get rid of Chris and THEN millions more to sign Gallery.
If Chris is talking crap or is poisonous, fine. But, unlike the inference you could draw from the Trotter move, I don't think so.

Man, I hope you are all right when you say that it's BS because I lost a bit of sleep last night after reading "the Raiders and Redskins already might have a silent agreement to make a draft-day deal."

This has to be BS because I refuse to believe that a man with as much football smarts as Joe Gibbs has would ever let a deal like this happen.

don't worry Jake, it won't happen
has CS openly refused to renegotiate or said that it's not going to happen? or has his a-hole agent?
