Jamison #47?

You can't give a tiny rb a FB/HB/TE number!

Anything in the 40 would allow him down too much:)

Heck, you end up with duplicate jersey numbers going into OTA's. Once training camp starts, you'll find out who's who.

Where there is smoke ... there might be fire.

Would you like it if YOUR number is given to somebody else?

and ... check:

No other player has a number 10.

No number yet for C Kevin Matthews.

Not bad at all. I expect a dogfight between the Redskins and Giants for the East.

There will be duplicates till after the final cuts. There are more players than available #'s when you include the "unofficially retired #'s.

There are often duplicates in pre-season games. This doesn't mean anything.

<<<<-------- Same for #81

However, the only number officially retired as per the NFL is:

Sammy Baugh's #33

The UNOFFICIALLY retired numbers include:

#7 Joe Theismann
#9 Sonny Jurgensen
#28 Darrell Green
#42 Charley Taylor
#43 Larry Brown
#44 John Riggins
#49 Bobby Mitchell
#65 Dave Butz
#70 Sam Huff
#81 Art Monk

Sean Taylor's number should be there imo.

Bold Prediction: Florida OT Xavier Nixon will not only be on the final 53 man list. He will be our starter for game 1.

... which would be pure awesomeness! If he's motivated, we would instantly have highly athletic bookends... a well protected quarterback... and an even better running game... awesomeness...

ok... so I had this need to use AWESOMENESS, because my brain has been taken over by Charlie Sheen...

I think Nixon may turn into a gem... time will tell... just remember, folks... Joe Jacoby was undrafted, as well...

you ok with that, Charlie?
