This is all I need to hear. The Redskins would be crazy to pass him up. Guys like Taylor only come around every 2-3 years.[/quote]

If Taylor is NOT available at #5, Should the Skins take on defense Udeze, Harris or Wilfork, or instead trade down?

i,m still trading down but sean taylor is high on my list as well.trading down makes more sense to me.
come april 24th i guess we all will know by then want we.

i,m still sticking to trading down from the #5 pick in the first round.free yourself up for more draft picks.

More and more, Mr. Taylor sounds like he should be the next Redskin. Are the skins gonna fly him in to the Draft Party?? Anyone know how soon after the pick the draftee is flown in?

Sean Taylor would be great but we Need a pass rush. This is the only year that we'll be able to draft someone that can provide it. Chances are we'll be drafting a lot later next year, and people don't let free agent pass rushers go. And even if they did, we might not be able to afford them (Kearse).

Getting to the QB is the most important thing that we need, and right now we don't have it. And before you say blitzing Arrington and Washington will solve everything, if the offense knows that's all we got it will be easy to defend.

We've got a chance to get one of two quality DE's in the draft, and pick up more picks. Let's take that road.

while cjpck44 makes valid points, i still think you have to take taylor if he's on the board just based on athletic ability. with the loss of champ the secondary can use the upgrade. spring, ohalete and bowen are all good players, but if you could put Ed Reed in there you know you would do it in a heartbeat. and G. Williams can utilize Taylor's size with the Safety blitz to help with the qb pressure.

however, if Taylor is gone by #5 i think the 'Skins should trade down about 5-8 spots and pick up a DL. whether it's an end or a tackle, i don't care, but get some line help!

when it comes to this discussion all i can think of is Roy Williams blasting Ramsey last year while wishing we had someone who could do that. that, and i keep telling myself that you can't fill all the holes in one year.
