Hognostication Playoffs 2013 - Hognosti-Bowl VIII

All the games have been played, but one. Now ACW and Redskin in Canada will battle it out for the right to hoist the Bugel trophy.
The Hognosti-Bowl has no home team. Both contestants will PM me their selections of a team and point total. Once I have each (and they differ

), the picks are locked, and I will post them in this thread. These two have until 11:59 PM EST, Thursday January 31st to get their pick in, but it makes for much more fun the sooner everyone else (we mock out of jealousy) can point and laugh.
So in in the meantime I will just say:
Congratulations, good luck, and happy hognosticating.

Of course.

The picks are in, and both picked the 49ers to win their 6th Super-Bowl in as many tries. So it all comes down to the points. We have:
ACW 63
RiC 49
Let's hope the final score doesn't add up to 56, or I'll have to flip a coin.

I think he's suggesting they PM you margins of victory predictions in case the final score adds to 56.

That works, unless the MOV is the same, too. Actually, ACW gave his points as a final score. RiC, if you want to break out that 49 points by team, I'll post ACW's, and we'll see.

Nope, but he can just post it here if he likes, then I will post yours.

Not for the playoffs. That is strictly for pride. Did you and tribe ever figure out who had the tie-breaker on the season?

Well, seeing as how the overall tiebreaker is "Tiebreaker #1 - Higher number of points scored for Week 17" I think I win. And if we go by score of final game, I had 35-14 vs. 38-24, and it was 28-18, so I DEFINITELY win in that case.

Yes, that would be that site's stupid tie-breaker rule which makes zero sense. But if you go by traditional hognostication tie-breaker rules, you would add up all the weekly tie-breakers, and whoever was closest over the course of the season would be the winner.
