I figured Morris might get the shaft. He should have made it; 3rd in the NFC in rushing and they take there backs from each conference.capitaldefense wrote:Zo, RG3 and Trent made it
I understand AD and Lynch, but Gore???skinsfan#33 wrote:I figured Morris might get the shaft. He should have made it; 3rd in the NFC in rushing and they take there backs from each conference.capitaldefense wrote:Zo, RG3 and Trent made it
Gore made it solely on name over Morris. Alf had a much better year! Alf was definitely snubbed!ACW wrote:I understand AD and Lynch, but Gore???skinsfan#33 wrote:I figured Morris might get the shaft. And Cruz over Dez? Witten over Graham?
Rogers and Ryan are obvious locks in the NFC. After that, someone had to sit home. I'm glad it wasn't RGIII this time, though I'm worried that Wilson will steal his ROTY award on the strength of the last month (as opposed to the whole season, where RGIII has clearly been superior).Bob 0119 wrote:Curiously absent from Pro-Bowl nominations...
Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Doug Martin
Aren't these guys up for Rookie of the year or something?
I don't think that's curious at all. The guy has ok numbers for a rookie, but he's not tops in the AFC. Manning, Brady, and Schaub deserve it more.Bob 0119 wrote:Curiously absent from Pro-Bowl nominations...
Andrew Luck
Against inferior competition to boot.Irn-Bru wrote:Andrew Luck is riding his reputation a bit, IMO. He hasn't been as sharp in the last couple of months as he was early in the year. He has his 4th quarter comebacks but what people forget is that it's Luck who is usually digging the hole he later climbs out of.
So are you saying that after half a season the league might have figured out his "gimmicky college offense" and that maybe he "can't read defenses"Irn-Bru wrote:Rogers and Ryan are obvious locks in the NFC. Hard to see the argument for Doug Martin making it over Morris, who was also left out.

I think he'd rather play in the Super Bowl, anyway...rskin72 wrote:Congrats to our players on the pro bowl team. Hope morris gets in.....should have been picked over gore imho.
Yes, 1/3 of it is.cowboykillerzRGiii wrote:Isn't the vote partially from the players?

I wondered the same thing.DarthMonk wrote:SkinsJock wrote:

Andrew Luck - Can you seriously argue that at this point in time he's better than the three who made it? I had the same curiosity when I read Griffin was the only rookie QB, but no way I put Luck this year above Manning, Brady or Shaub.Bob 0119 wrote:Curiously absent from Pro-Bowl nominations...
