The Rise and Fall of Mark Sanchez

Sancheezy..............I never really thought he was that talented. Sure, I hoped for the best for him and his success.

BTW, his cousin worked with me at the Charter School in Cali....she was so proud of him (as I would be too) making millions of dollars.

Well now he may be looking for a new team and EVA dumped him, is what I heard on radio.

OH how the Mighty Fall, though he was FAR from mighty.

Report: Jets will attempt to trade Sanchez The New York Daily News reports that the Jets will attempt to trade Mark Sanchez this offseason.
Good luck with that, Jets. As we've gone over and pounded into the heads of everyone over the past few weeks, Sanchez is owed $8.25 million in guaranteed money next year. The Jets would certainly have to eat that money in order to pull off a deal, while the other team would have to pay Sanchez roughly $3 million. New York would be extremely fortunate to even get a late-round pick in exchange for the former No. 5 overall pick turned third-stringer. Cutting him seems more likely, and that would bring on a $17.1 million cap hit.

NY Times says that both Sanchez and Tiebow will be gone soon.

Tebow is a no-brainer, even a deteriorating rag like the Times can get that one right, but the Jets cannot afford to let Sanchez go. His contract is an albatross around their necks... and they will not find a team willing to accept the burden of his contract. That's not happening.

They'd have to eat the contract, to be able to trade him. And I agree about Tebow, but also think they should have gone to him about week 4, over Dirty Sanchez. He may not be a good QB, but the guy is a winner.

Sanchez sucks he has had plenty of time to take advantage of his opportunities.
As far as Tebow goes. He was not given a fair shake. The Jets became a circus act and that is all on Rex. Had they given Tebow a fair shot to play who knows what could have happened?
Tebow took a struggling Broncos team to the playoffs and beat the Steelers.

So I thought based on last year Tebow earned a chance to at least prove himself. At the very least start a game. Sanchez had a couple of losing streaks and plenty of turnovers. Yet Rex couldn't start Tebow for one of those games?

Jets suck, Sanchez sucks and its all on Rex.

And yet Sanchez is making the same salary as Tom Brady

Sanchez is a good QB who could become great ...

... with the right HC and personnel around him.

Terrible situation for him with a bad OL and the circus that Rex has brought to town.

Arizona is desperate. They will work something out with some other team. I would put Grossman on the block immediately to them but Sanchez would be more attractive to the Cards.

Not quite dead. Tiebow goes, taking his continentAL fanbase with him.

Ryan is a looser. Touches everything and it crumbles.
