some people might want rg3 to rest another week given we are playing a 4-10 philly team

The NFC East is NOT in our pocket yet. You play your best until it is... if Dallas and NY lose next week, you can then play Cousins against Dallas. back atcha...

If RGIII is ready to go, we have to start him.

Besides, I would worry that RGIII would be rusty with having 2 weeks off.

The game against DAL could end up being the biggest game of the season.............

no. simply because rg3 should be ready...rg3 is way more dynamic of a player. cousins played a fine game, but i think that being in a division game with philly, anything can happen. and i want the more dynamic qb on the field

Yes. Let Robert Griffin heal completely, and Cousins looks pretty good. Activate Griffin; let him take 1/3 of the practice snaps, just in case, but try to give the guy another week to heal.

Cousins should start, this is a bad Philly team. Give RG3 another week to heal completely. KC just proved he can beat a decent defense on the road by 17 points. Could have won by more but Shanahan showed mercy on the Browns.

KC is the better pocket passer, anyway, and this is a passing league. What makes RG3 so dangerous is his dual threat ability. If he's not 100% it's just not worth putting him out there unless it's a must win game against a good team.

No, he isn't. RGIII is the better pocket, on the designed move, scramble and otherwise, passer.

This what makes RGIII damn near unstoppable, and incredibly dangerous. But without it, he's still more dangerous than Kirk. Coincidentally, that is why one of them is the starter and the other isn't.

WHY? - is that good enough or do you just not get it - get outa here with the negative vibes

we're playing for a record of 10-6

I cannot believe some of your posts

RGIII needs to play. It is a division games - throw the records out. Plus, RGIII needs to get some experience playing at not 100%.

Plus, I have tickets to the game.

If RGIII is healthy, he plays.

NOBODY with ANY football sense would prepare for next Sunday's game with anything but respect for a division rival that will be trying their best to win ...

are you kidding me? If we don't put the best players and come up with a very good game plan, we will NOT win this game

I know you are just posting a scenario but you seem to always be looking for something negative ...

we are witnessing some magic here - this is not a really good team just yet and there's a chance we could be the NFC East champs .. EVEN if we pull off 2 more victories we still have a lot of areas of concern that need to be addressed before we start next season ....

The FACT IS - we are playing well together at the right time - ENJOY it for what it is

no matter what happens the next 2 games - we have shown that we are on the right track

this has been an incredibly rewarding series of games

when did we last beat the eagles, cowboys and giants in successive weeks and then take on 2 teams that we were not mean't to beat and take them both down as well

ENJOY THE RIDE

No, RGIII has rested enough to heal a LCL sprain, he's the better player, he plays.

What I'd like to know is: what are the odds we trade Cousins this offseason? He played extremely well in limited duty, definitely looks like a starting caliber NFL QB...

Schawb, Cassell, etc. show that young QB's can bring in big returns.

good question - just a few weeks too early - you might be interested in Cousins' trade value - I could not care less

Cousins is just further proof of how good a job this FO is doing in getting this franchise back on track

GREAT JOB

now we need to focus on getting ready for this game this week - that is all that we're really interested in

our game with the boyz is looking pretty big (if) we take care of buisness in philthy. so if rg3 is ready to play then you play him.

I like Cousins...a lot...but RGIII is going to start if he's cleared. No questions asked. I can't fathom why people are talking about using Cousins as trade fodder. You do realize that it's a very real possibility that Griffin won't stay healthy for all 16 games in a season?

ALL this team will be doing is trying their best to win this next game game

the fans can look ahead and fantasize ...

we'll need to play very well - the eagles will be super motivated to win this game

this game is Philly's last home game this season - they will be tough to beat ...

we will need to play well and we'll need our best players

No, as much as i respect and admire Cousins you need to get G3 back in there to get back into the groove so the 'magic' works - the little intangibles that are the difference.
I have always been a big Cousins guy, he could start for most teams in the NFL. But he has only 1 game under his belt and the playbook is very limited for him. LittleShanny keep running the same basic play over and over and he let Cousins' arm make the play. Another team will have that figured out by today and be ready for him.
We need to get G3 back in there and just rip somebody up so's they are hittin on all 8 cylinders again.
