No way we lose to Foles.

Might as well be the game which seals Andy's run in Philthy. Last game against an Andy Reid led Philthy team.

Until our second game against the Smeagols. Or are you thinking he get's canned mid-season?

60%-40% but our way this time.

Do we (try to) take away McCoy and force Foles to beat us? He might be a better passer than Vick.

Do we rush him with 3 and play coverage? Do we blitz and (try to) make him make quicker decisions.

Experience tells me the Eagles will play well for their backup in his first full game while we will be in danger of relaxing on defense instead of being ultra-focused on Vick.

I want to put 7 guys in the box and bring a random 4 or 5 but it can't be chaos. We need discipline on the backside because McCoy is so shifty. The crowd showing up for 60 minutes would help. So would:

*Not treating timeouts like candy corn on Halloween.
*Not treating easy picks like hot potatoes.
*Protecting on kicks.
*Catching passes.
*Tackling

*Playing like we care.

Griff cares. This probably won't be easy. We might need 31+.

30-27 us.

Anyone else feel like I do in that we are the "get well team" for pretty much anyone in the NFL? I am worried that today Foles will show up and look like an MVP against our team. I hope I am wrong as I do not want to be a pessimist, but I cannot help feeling this way given our history of losing to teams that I feel we should beat.

I do think we'll try and force Foles to throw even with our secondary issues

I do think we'll try and be a little more run oriented

I hope we have eliminated the silly penalties

I'm looking for RG3 to have a big game

Yes.

Me too.

Same here.

All we can do is watch and hope. If we are there we can get loud too.

The guys on NFL Network have ZERO respect for our defense. Rightly so, I believe. Things have to change. Our secondary is the primary reason for the defensive collapse. This is strangely similar to Shannahan's defensive backfiled problems in Denver. It seems he has a blindspot for it.

No joke.

We MUST make Foles earn it. If he can complete 8 passes per drive for TDs then more power to him.

We simply CANNOT give him any easy ones over the top.

Please, Haz and Co. ... make them freaking earn it! Please! [-o<

Is Meriweather playing? This is what's on Yahoo:

Meriweather (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Washington Times writer Rich Campbell reports.
Recommendation: Meriweather has been limited in practice this week, but it's difficult to get a read on just how active he might have been in practice. Considering the uncertainty surrounding his status, Meriweather is best avoided as an IDP for now.

Everything about the Iggles right now points to a Redskins win. Unfortunately, everything about the Redskins points to an Iggles win.

We SHOULD win by 14, but you just know this is going to be another nightmare for our collective blood pressure.

The only thing I know for sure is that I'll be watching.

We take this one. I don't think it will be particularly close, either.

I think we'll get our butt kicked again - please let be as wrong as i normally am.
Philly is a very tough place to play when you got youogether and have confidence. We don't have either.
Fireing coach Andy is incredible - maybe he'll send his resume up to snyders booth.
I see a good day for Morris, they need to feed him the ball and pound on the iggles. But little shanny will quit the ground game early in the 3rd quarter and things will spiral down from there.
Hail Skins!

Will it sound like that though? Fedex really doesn't generate home advantage.

I hope you're right, but remember that the 'Skins are pretty much the NFL's official homecoming team against rookie QBs/first time starters.

If the defense plays to make Foles throw, better prepare for a shootout.

As someone wrote earlier, win or lose, I would just like to see some pride, tackling, and effort on the defensive side of the ball.

I want to see Andy Reid run out of the NFL by our beloved Redskins.
