Does anyone else think that Clay "tries" to sound like a Brother while talking...?

Does he try to do that or is he really hip and cool, growing up in the HOOD...?

My opinion........it's phoney.

I sound better than that when I talk to my crew.....an I ain't black...ahhaha

I'm confused, does talking like a "Brother" make you hip and cool, or is it growing up in the "HOOD?" :hmm:

I assure you that there are plenty of white people who talk like him in Southern California. There are people of all races and ages who talk like him. It is a gigantic melting pot.

I mean not just in Cali. If you look and listen all across America certain words, phrases have become common language. Bling, yal, word, down, ya dig, money whatever you can think of.

I mean all across the country you hear asians, arabs, etc.. All ethnicities growing up in the U.S.A after a while it just all meshes.

Come on Tribe you know this already! You live in HB. Im in Santa Ana. We are only a few miles away. You know darn well there are white guys near you who talk like him too. Clay actually grew up in LA. You know there are young mexicans and asians who talk like him as well.

Heck I know of surfers who talk like him as well. Your telling me all those potheads near the beach dont talk like him a lil? Come on.

Thats just my point. He is not phony. He is real. I have plenty of friends with his skin color who talk like him. Raised right here in Southern California. It really doesn't matter to me how a person talks. So long as they can get their point across and I can understand them.

You have your right to your opinion though. However I think it is way off base. Especially considering you live right in Southern California where you can easily drive around and hear people speak the same way.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone break Strahan's "record" in the near future.

Love the quotes. I won't forgive Favre for laying down.
