I thought this may have needed its own thread. I read on Redskins.com that Trent Williams hurt his foot during the extra point and they ordered X-rays that came back negative. Any word on this?

It appears to be minor, though he was limping slightly last night. He should be OK to go against Da Bears.

We need 16 games out of this guy this season. He needs to be the leader of this line and prove he is a worthy 1st round draft pick.

Brown isn't playing this season, of that I'm certain. Tyler and Gettis will figure heavily, Monty is steady, Chester is too. But Trent looks like he's ready to step up and dominate, and we really need him too.

Someone has clearly had a word with him and set him straight after last season, you only get one shot at this so lets hope he's come to his senses and will be in Hawai come January.

its been upgraded to a bone bruise in the foot. he's limping very noticeably now.

id have to say that this a crisis at this point. they are currently without almost ALL of their projected starting offensive linemen plus their projected starting running back and projected starting fullback; neither of whom are expected back this week, either. another offensive lineman apparently is hurt, the aptly named maurice hurt, and they working on 3rd stringers starting now.

this a regime notorius for downplaying the severity of their players' injuries so i wouldnt just take it for granted when shanahan implies its all not a big deal when there are microphones in his face.

his press conference after his team's first game of the year was almost entirely devoted to injury updates.

theyve got a real serious injury problem here and since there is a lot of history of injury with this offensive line, i for one wont give them the benefit of the doubt.

they might have to scale the playbook back for their qb because of all the backups assigned to pass protect for him on the line and in the backfield.

This too shall pass. Trent, KL will both be fine and ready to roll in 28 days against Saints.

Next sky is falling story, please

(Brown, I'm not so sure about.)

Bone bruise he may miss some time but not a season ender . Not like Brown with the hip injury. I would rather it happen now instead in the middle of the season when it really counts.

here is some info on bone bruise
