LB Fletcher...out for the year...!!!

YIKE.... glad it's not our Fletcher.
Report: Patriots lose LB Fletcher to torn ACL
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Patriots LB Dane Fletcher sustained a torn left ACL in Thursday's preseason opener.
Fletcher drew the start in the middle with Brandon Spikes sitting out. Following the injury, rookie Dont'a Hightower moved from the strong side to Fletcher's spot. The injury will increase the responsibilities of veteran Bobby Carpenter, who was signed for depth and versatility. Fletcher was expected to be Spikes' primary backup this season.

Putting the guy's full name in the thread title might just have averted a few minor heart complications among the older members of this board (like me).

Thanks Tribe! My blood pressure just went up! I should have known better because Twitter would have been going crazy and I just got off of the site. All in fun and bp is back down.
