Why is the answer to the actual Poll not a valid result?
Because SOMEONE wants to know how everybody voted???
Why is the Poll there in the first place then? Might as well not have it and count the posts at the end.
Too much time during the offseason, I guess.

Two reasons:
1. To prevent people from voting more than once (under different accounts).
2. So I have a timestamp for their vote, to know that they voted during the time in which the poll was open.
