So it seems the NFL Refs are going on strike. To me this is a horrible time for the NFL not to agree with what they want considering they are trying to lower the risks of injuries.
What are your thoughts?

I mean, holding is holding and pretty much everything is reviewed anyways. If there were no replay option I'd think this could be bad, not worried now though.

My ONLY concern is the illegal hits to be honest bro. Like, how can the subs differentiate between what is legal and what is tick-tack and what is illegal? Doesn't it take months for these guys to get trained?
I'd be pretty sour if someone illegally hits our boy and its not called... first thing that will come up will be the whole ref thing.

I hope the refs have better union representation than the players do.

Agreed, but I think the league will pay extra attention to that. Remember, they WILL fine a guy for a bad hit after the fact

If the league was truly worried about player safety, they wouldn't use scab refs. In addition, they'd hire FT refs. But it's all a crock...

That's how I was looking at it bro!
I mean, the NFL refs out of all sports honestly do have the hardest job. The rule book alone is thick as hell and they have MULTIPLE things they are looking out for. You'd think the NFL would try and support them.. I think the starting salary is something like 45K/year?
