Since the Merger

When the NFL merged with the AFL there were 16 teams in the NFL and 10 in the AFL. 3 NFL teams moved (Steelers, Colts, Browns) over creating the AFC. The remaining NFL teams became the NFC, and all 26 became the NFL. Here is the overall ranking, by win percentage, of the 26 franchises that existed then:

No kidding. Imagine the Browns without the Marty years. Imagine us with Marty years.

It's going to make the next 10 years that much sweeter.
