We should trade for Dennis Northcut

I am concerned that Washington does not have enough depth at WR, I mean outside of Coles, Gardner, Thrash, McCants, Jacobs, Russell, Swane and Cloman... we don't have ANYONE who can catch the ball!

of course we just shot ourselves in the foot releasing Swayne... we will be so weak at WR

I think you're looking at this all wrong...
We cut Swane so we can have room to trade for Northcut!
I mean, with all those 6 and 7 (who needs a quarterback) WR sets that Joe Gibbs uses, we'll be all set. I mean, can you immagine how we will be able to stretch the secondary with 7 wideouts downfield?! The defense won't know what hit them!
It's foolproof too, there is no possible way to get sacked it there's no QB!!! Bwahahahaha

With four RB and 7 WR - there won't be anyone to block - but they won't know who to chase

I can see it now:
WR WR WR TE WR WR WR
___RB_RB______RB RB
Portis snaps the ball to Betts, Betts latteralls to Jacobs, Jacobs tosses the ball over to Coles, Coles fires to Canidate, Canidate pitches to Gardner, Gardner dumps the pigskin off to Chamberlain, Chamberlain passes to Morton, Morton hands off to Thrash, Thrash rears back and heaves it to... DENNIS NORTHCUT! TOUCHDOWN WASHINGTON!!
I mean every play would be like the Music City Miracle! This is an awesome plan, I can't believe we got left off the coaching staff.
EDIT- Grumble, I put 12 dudes on the field! Who needs Raymer anyway? Anybody can snap the ball!

Especially since you have 12 men on the field - there are only 5 WR or 3 RB...
C'mon man - pull yourself together!

Oops ::looking around::
Do you think anyone noticed? :ahem:
Straightening up... walking away whistling

I'm sure Russ Grimm noticed and he's pretty mad, he's headed right for us!!!
Seriously though, if we got the Caines coach to do an interview, why not some of the Hogs? I mean, this site is for them right?
Like many overweight kids, I love the Washington Redskins because they made being an offensive lineman cool. I salute them!
On that note, I'm about 6-2 260 but I wear it pretty well, I was thinking of walking on to the college football team here because they suck and I might have a shot but... that would really cut into my sitting around time

You never know man - we work on stuff all the time - and we might sneak something out on you at any time.
I have several work projects, at least four on here and a bunch at home and looking to start my own business on the side, cause I have way too much time... s'yeah
It is just a good thing that I am a speed reader and a good typist or I would be screwed...

say if one of the hogs did come to the site and signed up for the message board (Curt Schilling did it for my Red Sox)
Now, would they have to wait until they got their 200th post like everyone else... or would you guys bend the rules and give them a custom avatar?

I think Boss would bend the rules, and I doubt anyone would gripe, much

I dunno, I'd be pretty peeved. I didn't know the rules so I waited until post 300 to ask for my avatar
Still I really like it! (For those of you who don't know that is a quarterback shaped hole in the ground from a vicious Arrington sack. The brutalized signal caller has presumably been removed from the playing field and packaged in several ice filled coolers in preparation for emergency reassembly surgery at a nearby hospital... of course, there's no blood... I should have asked for blood... and a deeper hole)

I got it - why don't we trade Arrington to the Eagles for TO and trade Trotter, Trung, Moore, and Gardner to the Vikes for Moss...

I'm reading all this and wondering what the posts in late May and early June will be like when absolutely no football is going on.
If the season could only start sooner...

Are you kidding June 1st is like Christmas again with team cutting high priced players to save a little cap room.

You know Skinsfan55, in addition to Schilling, John Henry and "The Sports Guy" Bill Simmons are also members. Maybe someday Dan Snyder, Patrick Ramsey and Mike Wilbon will be posting on thehogs.net...
