It starts next week, right?!?! I can't wait! I don't care what they're doing, it'll be news. The team will be together, maybe some reports on RGIII working with WR's.

You couldn't say that about Luck... which is another reason why I liked RGIII over Luck.Chris Luva Luva wrote:It starts next week, right?!?! I can't wait! I don't care what they're doing, it'll be news. The team will be together, maybe some reports on RGIII working with WR's.
Luck hasn't finish school, by League rules he has to wait until June. RGIII can start working nowtribeofjudah wrote:Niks, what makes you say that about Luck?
Does he have to be under contract?1niksder wrote:Luck hasn't finish school, by League rules he has to wait until June. RGIII can start working nowtribeofjudah wrote:Niks, what makes you say that about Luck?
Moot point. He'll want to be here, that's even better.Deadskins wrote:Does he have to be under contract?1niksder wrote:Luck hasn't finish school, by League rules he has to wait until June. RGIII can start working nowtribeofjudah wrote:Niks, what makes you say that about Luck?
He doesn't have to be under contract but any good agent will keep him out until he is signed (fears of injuries)Deadskins wrote:Does he have to be under contract?1niksder wrote:Luck hasn't finish school, by League rules he has to wait until June. How is it moot? If he can't be there because he's not under contract, that's just as bad as not being there because of still being in school. I'm not clear on the rules, though, that's why I'm asking. He may be able to participate anyway, since there's no contact.Chris Luva Luva wrote:Moot point. What happens at the rookie mini camp?everydayAskinsday wrote:Luck actually is able to participate in the rookie minicamp .. Every rookie is authorized regardless of standing with their schools... After the rookie minicamp he is not able to be with the team till after June 7th
I'm not sure how it works in terms of whether a player is required to be under contract in order to participate in the rookie minicampChris Luva Luva wrote:What happens at the rookie mini camp?everydayAskinsday wrote:Luck actually is able to participate in the rookie minicamp .. But RGIII can participate, right? After he signs.
I think I said that:everydayAskinsday wrote:Luck actually is able to participate in the rookie minicamp .. Every rookie is authorized regardless of standing with their schools... After the rookie minicamp he is not able to be with the team till after June 7th
Drafting Luck would have meant Luck would not be available until June.1niksder wrote:He doesn't have to be under contract but any good agent will keep him out until he is signed (fears of injuries)Deadskins wrote:Does he have to be under contract?1niksder wrote: Luck hasn't finish school, by League rules he has to wait until June. It's a 3 day post draft camp... Luck would have been able to work out at this camp if he had been drafted by the Skins, but even with a contract he would have to miss all of the camps in May and part of some in June. With RGIII after this camp (it's really a 15 day window) he can stick around and workout with his team.
The workouts or mostly voluntary but agents don't want their clients out there with a deal. They say players are holding out but really it's agents protecting players from themselves most of the time.everydayAskinsday wrote:I'm not sure how it works in terms of whether a player is required to be under contract in order to participate in the rookie minicampChris Luva Luva wrote:What happens at the rookie mini camp?everydayAskinsday wrote:Luck actually is able to participate in the rookie minicamp ..
