Caps Clinch a Play-Off Berth

Washington clinches its fifth consecutive berth in the NHL playoffs by beating Florida, 4-2, as Buffalo loses to Philadelphia, 2-1. The Capitals are still alive for the Southeast Division title.

You think since we played like an average team this year that we may finally get over the hump of playoffs? I'm guessing we will because when we were the top team, we failed miserably.

I am thinkng the same thing. They couldn't win as th etop seed, perhaps, they can win it at the bottom sed, but wait - I heard that they can become as high as the third seed.

Congrats on this. The Stars Failed. I hope that someone not a New York City team, or a Pacific Division team does not win it all.

As soon as our boy mocked wus his face, I knew there'd be a problem.. and it happened.. and we lost.
Gotta regroup.. Baaaawstin isn't a team to take likely.. considering THEY ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!.. dag gone it!

I watched the last 10 minutes of the game last night, what a circus. The Caps still can't win anything, but they are entertaining doing it.

I was content with the Caps beating the 2 seeded Bruins in Round 1, but it won't mean anything unless they beat the 1 seeded Rangers tonight.
Caps will do it tonight!
