So I thought it might be helpful to track free agent moves and try and plug them into the depth chart. We can just keep this going as new players are added:
QB- John Beck (Only one signed!)
RB- Roy Helu
FB- Darrel Young
TE- Fred Davis
*WR- Pierre Garcon
WR- Jabar Gaffney
LT- Trent Williams
LG- Kory Lichtensteiger (Unsigned RFA but was tendered)
C- Will Montgomery
RG- Chris Chester
RT- Jammal Brown
LDE- Adam Carriker
NT- Barry Cofield
RDE- Jarvis Jenkins
LOLB- Ryan Kerrigan
LILB- Keyaron Fox
RILB- Perry Riley
ROLB- Brian Orakpo
LCB- Deangelo Hall
RCB- Josh Wilson
*FS- Brandon Meriweather
SS- Reed Doughty
So, that's what I see so far. Not too exciting IMO... RGIII or Luck would be a big help, but I still see O-line as the biggest weakness, followed by defensive backfield and possibly another WR. Anyone have a different take?

I'm pretty sure Bowen starts over Carriker.Skinsfan55 wrote:So I thought it might be helpful to track free agent moves and try and plug them into the depth chart. We can just keep this going as new players are added:

Agree with your priorities, except in place of WR I would insert ILB. Right now we don't have a ILB to start if we don't re-sign London.
The OL scares me too. You have one ok player at C, another Ok player at RG, a LT that is very good but he is one toke away from being gone for a year, a LG that is solid when healthy but probably won't be at the start of the season, and a RT that is only average when healthy but he is never healthy. I've got more faith on the backups than some of the starters.

Re: Depth Chart
Bowen starts on the side opposite Carriker. Jenkins rotates behind Carriker.Skinsfan55 wrote:So I thought it might be helpful to track free agent moves and try and plug them into the depth chart. We can just keep this going as new players are added:

I think Dejon Gomes starts over Reed Doughty. He started several games last year.
I think we need to add help along the line. Kory Lichtensteiger is no shoe-in coming off ACL surgery. Even still, he's probably not going to be able to go every snap.
We need a RT & a LG that can start. If we take care of those two spots and add RG3. That offense can do something--especially with a healthy Cooley and Fred Davis making plays like he does.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

Re: Depth Chart
My take is that we will play more 3, 4, and 5 WR sets than we will 2 WR sets with a tailback and a fullback. That's when it starts to get scary, when our slowest skill guy is a TE who runs under 4.6. What you have looks right for the 2 RB set. With 3 WR I'd say Moss though I know he's not under contract. Is that Morgan now with Gaf in the slot? Who are the current #4 and #5 WRs?Skinsfan55 wrote:So I thought it might be helpful to track free agent moves and try and plug them into the depth chart. I guess I'd also pencil in RG3 but again, what you have is right considering who's actually under contract.

You think this because you think camp bodies are signed in March.CanesSkins26 wrote:That secondary is going to get LIT UP.
Shanny likes competition at every spot, R. Morris is the best acquisition added to the secondary so far and he'll raise the level of play in who every he puts back there.
I can see the other Griffin
