Proposed new combine/draft format

I think it would be pretty neat to do all the pro-days before the combine. You could spread em out a bit more and televise some of the important ones.
Move the combine to April and have the draft the following Friday. Only 3 days between the combine and the draft. Finish up at the combine and put everyone on a plane to NY.
This would make the combine participants have to do all the drills to make that final impression. Also give the coaches 1 last look at all the prospects.
The only part I can't work out is free-agency, maybe you guys have some suggestions.
