Poll: If you had to put your money on it, who will it be..?

OK, I want to know who you believe will actually be the Redskins starting QB for next season. NOT who you want to be QB, but who you think in your heart of hearts, if you had to put your own money on it, will be the man they go for...?

You didn't like the other threads or the other poll on the same question?

Sexi Rexy.

Manning isn't coming to DC. Flynn is probably smart enough to stay the hell away as well. None of the top notch QB's will be there at #6. So we default back to Grossman.

Oh. Didn't see that poll. Sorry fella!

My guess is that the QB that starts the first game, will not be the QB that starts the last game. Draw your own conclusions from there.

Sonny Jurgenson.
He sounds sick of the perrenial qb issues, and frankly is probably as mobile today as he was when playing.(basically non-ambulatory, lol)

I'm going with Flynn and I bet we draft a young QB to sit behind him. If it's not Flynn. My gutt is that the Skins may also make a home run at a QB next year. The QB's coming out then are deeper than this years draft.

If I had to put money on it, then I'd say Grossman. Even if we draft a qb, I still seeing Rex starting the 2012 season while we give the new guy time to learn the system.

Also, where's the John Beck option? lol

Don't worry about him, he's like that to everyone.

Welcome SLR. This is the right place to be if you want to talk Redskins.

Not a betting man, but everyone in the DC area can't stop talking about Peyton. It's been crazy! I would have to agree with the great " No S Larry Michael" , "Don't care who it is as long as they can play the position."

I mean "No S, Just Larry Michael", that's the best sound bite!

Thanks mate!
And I checked the other poll afterwards and it was who you want to be QB, not who you think will be QB, and there's a big difference!

I don't think that it will be Peyton, even though I suspect he'll be a free agent very soon. I also suspect that he'd steer clear of the Redskins, and be more inclined to play for the Titans and a chance to play his former team twice each year.

If there is any sanity at Redskin park, they'll do what is necessary to take RG3 (with an outside chance at Luck, if the Colts take RG3 first)

If not .. they'll trade down, take a project QB and start Rex. By the time the project QB is clipboard proficient, Snyder will have seen enough lack of winning and those saved draft picks will be available for the next coaching staff in 2013.

I always like people who just say "trade down" like it's something you can plan for. They can look to trade up for Griffin, they can look to trade down, but both are opportunistic moves. It's like dancing, you need a partner.

I didn't mean to bust your balls or anything, but we do get a lot of redundant threads. I'm not staff and it wasn't any sort of official notice, just voicing my view that it would be nice if people checked.

No worries, I did check but wanted to get thoughts from people on a seperate thread as the other ones went off on too many tangents if you know what I mean.
I'll be more thoughtful in future...

Now now, if you don't have anything nice to say....

I chose Tannehill... I think there is an outside chance Grossman is the man at the helm next year.

Yeah I think if I was actually putting money on it my bet would be that Rex is still under center in September with a rookie QB gearing up behind him.

I BELIEVE that we'll have a free agent QB (NOT Grossman) to start the season

So that would be Manning, Flynn or Orton then...? Who do you think Shanny would go after...??

That's too funny. You follow me around the board with bitter little posts like this, even after we'd worked it out...

If I had to put "money" on it, I'd pick Grossman...but put as little on it as I was allowed to...
