Tre....it's the SOS, same ole ____
I'd like to see teams that have not been there in a while (like Skins)..hahaha. OR most improved team....from cellar to Penthouse, ya know...
As a Skins fan, it's no fun seeing the same teams go year after year: Steelers, Pats, etc....
49ers woulda been good to see...it's been a long while for them.
HECK...if the Skins can get their S..T together....we could be there...!!!

The G-strings definitely don't deserve to be there. They have to be the luckiest team on the planet. If SF could play offense at all, that game would not have been close.

Turnovers on special teams cost them the game.

I disagree. I think it was not being able to convert on a single 3rd down, and missing multiple opportunites on offense that cost the 49ers this game.

BOTH TEAMS......backed into the PLAYOFFS. How about that analysis...??? Both got a little lucky this past Sunday.

Yeah, but the Patriots are actually a good team, while the G-strings suck.

I just want to see the Giants lose
I don't care how, or, if the game is bad - actually, I hope the Giants play great ... and lose
I have 2 teams that I like to see win - the Redskins and whichever team is playing the Giants

It's pretty bad since the Pats were the #1 seed

And the missed FG would have sent the game to overtime. It's not like it would have been a game winner. The Patriots might have still won the game, even if he had made it.

Yeah, it was the game winning touchdown pass that slipped right through the receivers hands a play or two before it that would sealed it.

Or that could be viewed as a good play by the Patriots' defender.

That play was a little weird. I DVRed it in hi-def. I hit rewind and watched the play frame by frame. The ball begins to come loose 1 frame before his 2nd foot hits. I was surprised there was no obvious review. The NFL claims the replay official told the crew it was clear and to move on. It took me about a minute to be convinced. I have my doubts about the NFL's claim of adequately checking the play before moving on.
A few plays earlier the Ravens had 1st and 10 at the 23. They threw an out to Boldin for 9 yards. He started stumbling on his own while making the catch and lost control of the ball when he hit the ground. Should've been ruled incomplete.
PS - I hate the Ravens a little more than the Patriots.

The old adage was that 'defense wins championships'
In this Super Bowl the Patriots show the Giants the reality of the new NFL
A good offense can overcome having an average defense
A great offense wins championships - The Patriots
while I think they win big - I'd love them to win in the final seconds and it be due to something bad, like a bad call or similar

Gotta love that most NFL fans and the media think that the giants win this game
this presumably represents the 'knowledge'
the Vegas guys that could care less, favor the Patriots - these guys make a living off this stuff
The money guys win

The Pats are down by 5 with 2 minutes to go. They punch it in and go for 2. They fail and kick off up by 1. The Giants get an explosion play to Cruz who gets chased down and fumbles at the Patriot 1 yard line. The Pats run 2 times for zero yards and face 3rd and 10 from their own 1 with 10 seconds left. The Giants have one time out. The Pats come up with a heavy jumbo set and the Giants have 11 guys in the box. At the last moment Brady steps back and quick kicks over everyone's head to ice the game but the snap is bad and the Giants get a safety as time expires to win by 1.

I love it - except the giants are NOT winning this game
remember - in the super bowl - take the better QB AND the better HC
at the begining of this year I was hoping Reid and Coughlin were going to lose their jobs
MAINLY because I cannot stand either of them but especially that little beady eyed mother
Recently I've realized, the Redskins would be better off with Coughlin staying in NY or they could bring in a good coach
the pukes made a big mistake letting Phillips go, he's a lot better than that stupid Garrett
Andy Reid is a good HC - just loved seeing that franchise not do as well as expected after adding all those players
right now - we have the best HC in the NFC East

If I was a betting man (thank the Lord, I'm NOT) - I'd be putting my money on the team with the better coach AND the better QB
