Conference Championship Pre-Game with Some Predictions

So I either fall flat on my face or ...

AFC:

Look for PAT to go for a few extra 4th-and-shorts (or a 2-point conversion) and to have a few special plays up their sleeve for just such situations including goal line plays.

I came up with 3:

A "pick play" that the ref can't call because the execution is so subtle. Maybe they put Gronk and Hernandez on the same side and Hernandez rubs off Gronk.

A naked bootleg to Brady from a formation that has been 100% a dive play to a RB during Raven film study.

An eligible receiver not named Vrabel blocks down hard then just stands up and turns around.

Look for Jerod Mayo to be the best linebacker in the game.

Look for a post-game handshake between Brady and Reed.

NFC:

If the wind is above 20 mph I'd start to worry about Eli.

If wind is at 17 it's one point either way.

Less wind NYG by 4.

Wind at 20+ 49R by 4.

49R always seem to have better cleats.

I see a tight AFC game with the edge going to the home team. Pats by 3.

In the NFC, however, the G-strings show their true colors, and lose the game in the first half. They close the gap in garbage time, but it's too little, too late. 49ers by 13.

I think we saw a version of this. The 3rd man on the left blocked down and Brady scooted around him. Surprisingly they gave it away at mid-field on a 2nd-and-1 and then he trash-talked Ray Lewis a little. They did it again at the goal line and a TD was reversed after review. Then Brady did the "Brees leap" and nearly broke his back. I'm sure Jizz-ele took care of him later.

Wind was at 15 mph and G-men won by 3.
