Congratulations to last week's winners!
Warmother and Deadskins each made it seem as if the visiting team didn't even show up, blowing out their opponents in shut-outs.
Redskin in Canada pulled away from SkinsJock in the 3rd quarter.
But the game of the weekend went to KazooSkinsFan @ tribeofjudah. It was a tight affair that went to overtime before kazoo pulled it out.
This week's matchups are:
In the HHC:
Deadskins @ DarthMonk
Redskin in Canada @ andyjens89
and
In the DHC:
KazooSkinsFan @ Hoss
Warmother @ DesertSkin
The games to be hognosticated are:

Sun., Jan. 15

New York Giants @ Green Bay

guess what tribe - Tebow's playing against a really weak defense this week
want to say that you think Tebow and the Broncos are going to win in NE
The Pittsburgh defense is possibly the best in the NFL - the Broncos do NOT have a prayer of winning this weekend - NONE

Well last week we were determined to keep our opponent from scoring.
So we locked them in the visitors lockeroom. Since that option is gone.
Sat., Jan. 14

Denver @ New England- New England
Sun., Jan. 15
Houston @ Baltimore- Baltimore
New York Giants @ Green Bay- Green Bay
Total- 173

Are you kidding? The post is just the calm in the eye of the hurricane. It follows the hours of exhausting research and gut wrenching agony in making the picks and the countless sleepless hours I'll spend living and dying on every play over the weekend...

No one knows since I had a bye but I had Denver last week.
Not saying yet but honestly ... could you really be shocked if they won again?

Here's the deal from the 2012 Hognostications Playoffs - Wild Card Round thread:
Deadskins wrote:So the seedings are set.
For the HHC:
1. DarthMonk
2. andyjens89
3. Redskin in Canada
4. Deadskins
5. BigRedskinDaddy
6. SkinsJock
And representing the DHC:
1. Hoss
2. DesertSkin
3. Warmother
4. tribeofjudah
5. KazooSkinsFan
6. vwoodzpusha
The top two seeds from each conference have byes, so that leaves us with these matchups this weekend:
HHC:
SkinsJock @ Redskin in Canada
BigRedskinDaddy @ Deadskins
and
DHC:
vwoodzpusha @ Warmother
KazooSkinsFan @ tribeofjudah
The games to be Hognosticated are:
Sat., Jan. 07
Cincinnati @ Houston
Detroit @ New Orleans
Sun., Jan. 08
Atlanta @ New York Giants
Pittsburgh @ Denver
Each hognosticator should pick the winner of each game, and a point total for the entire weekend (that means all teams, all games).
Visiting hognosticators have until 4:00 PM EST, Friday to make their picks. After the visitors have picked, the home hognosticator has until 4:00 PM, Saturday to lock in his picks.
NOTE: Once the home hognosticator has picked, the visitor's picks are locked, but the home hognosticator can still change his selection up until his deadline.*
Happy Hognosticating!
* This is known as the SkinsJock rule.

I can't stand the patriots but they are not losing to the Broncos this weekend
they will not stop scoring, like some teams might - this will be a big win
I have nothing against Tebow - gotta love what he's doing
HOWEVER - this is not going to be very pretty

Sounds like you are being DEEPLY tempted to call for an upset in this game.
Go ahead ... MAKE MY DAY

Gotta wait for the Dead man to make his picks .....
I'd love for Tebow and the Broncos to show up and win this game
how great a story would that be in churches across the world
go for it

Saints
Patriots <-- It wouldn't surprise me at all if Denver won this. You could see Tebow's confidence building with every play last week. But he doesn't have the home crowd this week, and Tom Brady does. Not in the short season.
Ravens
Packers
168

I think the Packers win but I really wouldn't mind if the giants pulled an upset
I hate the giants - they could beat the Packers ... BUT there's no way they can beat the 49ers or the Saints - NONE
for me - that loss would be almost as good as us beating them twice this season
unfortunately, the Packers will most likely expose them - that will be kind of fun too

Echoing your analysis of DEN @ PAT. I picked DEN in "long season" in Denver and was feeling OK until 2 fumbles in 4 plays leading to a quick 14 for PAT. DEN should have gained some confidence from that loss and the win over PIT. I too would not be surprised and no one should be.
Good luck, bro.

fully agree that Denver could pull an upset but when it comes to this particular weekend's games you are wise to go with the team with the better QB
Denver's defense is very capable but unfortunately Tebow is not
no matter how many times the Denver defense bails out the offense, they will not be scoring enough
Brady can have a bad game and still put up more than enough points to win this game
Brady playing the way he does in playoffs is lethal

Pats defense is VERY suspicious but Belichek will design a good scheme against Tebow. The Bills killed him with a good scheme.
