Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall earned NFC defensive player of the week honors for his performance against the Seahawks on Sunday. Hall recorded five tackles, six pass break-ups and an interception in the Redskins’ 23-17 victory. This is the second time in Hall’s career that he has earned the award. The last time was in Week 7 of the 2010 season when he had four interceptions against the Chicago Bears.
Hall has 69 tackles, 11 pass break-ups, two interceptions and a forced fumble this season. Hall said he was surprised at the award. “I didn’t realize I had seven pass breakups,” he said. “I definitely remembered dropping a couple picks, but didn’t expect this at all.”

Maybe this should tell us that, we need to stop thinking the grass is always greener... Maybe that people are being way too hard on him. People ragged on him during the game, yet he one this award which I dont think is dictated by fans. #shrug

He had a great game. He's a very good corner in the league. And, no way in Hell should we be cutting him. He played like a Top 5 corner last week. Hopefully he can do that more consistently.

He had a bad game the week before and said he felt like the team should cut him...
didn't get cut and went back to work.
He had a bad game, was hard on himself, and got DPOW the next game. Regardless of what he is being paid, isn't this what from everyone on the roster (point ?the finger at yourself then do something correct the problem)?

MY DAWG!
I've stood behind hall for a minute and even after he was hard on himself. Hall is the least of our concerns. The better the front plays the Better D hall performs... Aint rocket science just NFL defense. We did better up front giving our dbacks the opportunity to make plays. U let chomo extend a should be sack any db will have trouble in coverage....... ........
Good job Hall! U r a G! B&G!
