Just watched A Football Life on NFL Network about Kurt Warner. I've always liked and admired this guy - but so much more now, having watched this.

Just a great guy all around, humble, not showing ego, great teammate, Great Leader.

Great expose on Kurt.

Do you think he is a future HOF...???

I voted absolutely yes. Warner came out of nowhere to lead the Rams to one Super Bowl and was merely seconds from winning two more.

His third Super Bowl appearance was remarkable. First persevering through two stints as a place holder to the heir apparents and then taking a 9-7 team all the way to the Bowl and coming within seconds and inches of winning it. That last SB, I believe gets him in the HOF.

BTW you should of added "Not first ballot but 3rd or 4th" 'cause absolutley to in 20 yrs is a big drop.

A good QB, not Hall of Fame. I do wish the Redskins had had Warner instead of Mark Brunell, though.

I had the fortune of watching Warner back in his AFL days. He showed it back then that he was something special. QB is one position that converts directly to NFL. Skins should have looked there also, or not given up on Green. Remember that they had him before the Rams did. Even thou he was hurt in that Preseason game. Warner proved it by taking the Cardinals to the Super Bowl that he deserves to be in the HOF.

The Redskins did not give up on Green. He was a free agent, and DECIDED that he preferred to play in St Loo. He was destined to be the starter the next season...

Perhaps he should have stayed...

My bad. I didn't know that Green was a Free Agent. Had he stayed. No telling the Future of the Redskins from that time to the current. After all he put up some amazing numbers in Kansas City.
