Hey peeps,
What's the status on Moss?

1. looks like he's practicing again...?
2. will he be up to speed?
3. will he be active this Sunday?
4. is he is "FOOTBALL" shape....?

and lastly: will HE even make a difference in our points production....???

I personally think Moss is a playmaker who will make a difference when he returns. I read somewhere that he is "hoping" to start practicing tomorrow, but we'll never know.

1. Santana Moss will play Sunday barring a setback. This is a bit surprising when you consider a week ago coach Mike Shanahan doubted he would return until the Jets game the following week. But Moss hasn’t had any issues and said his left hand doesn’t bother him when he catches. “I feel like my hand is ready,” Moss said. “When it comes to taking hits on it, that’s something that you can’t prevent. The catching part should be normal, but taking a hit is going to be something different.”

i hope he doesn't play or is not 100% and thus ineffective. this is a "must lose" game in the race for draft position; Seattle is one of our top competitors for a high draft pick to get our QB of the future with, and we can't afford to "win" a head-to-head tiebreaker with these guys. winning this game would be a disaster with no benefit.

what, we're gonna feel great about beating pathetic Seattle with Tarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrvaris Jackson at QB? don't think so. it would be a worthless win. if we're going to win any more games this year, let's upset a division rival or beat a really good opponent; we could feel good about that. beating Seattle? no way to care about that. must lose.

I'm glad we won but i'm amazed at how many people think head to head record factors into draft position. Other than altering the final overall record of a team head to head means bubkiss!

Draft order is decided by:
Overall winning %
Tie breakers are:

Opponent winning %
Division/conference record
Coin flip

(notice no head to head)

That's ok, Andy Polin and CJ from the Wise show both mistakenly think head to head matters!

Well, people who want us to lose aren't thinking clearly in the first place, so it's easy to see how this mistake perpetuates . . .

Fans who think this just have no faith in the progress and this franchise

they like to point out all the 'facts' that prove we're going nowhere

we are better than we were - these guys have made some good moves & brought in some players that will help in the long term
- it is going to take time to make things right - we need to keep going down this track
- some fans are frustrated by what has happened here - that was then, this is NOW

Mike & Bruce have screwed up some but we are not far off from competing for the NFC East title
- the other NFC East teams have a lot of issues and certainly are not better coached
I would not be at all surprised to see both Reid and Coughlin fired - gotta love it

 I think you're the only one here that thinks we can still win the NFC East this year

no worries - we like that about you - always looking on the bright side, if a little unrealistic

we're NOT winning the division just yet BUT we're not far behind the other guys in the NFC East

I just had a disturbing thought. The Egirls could finish with the same record a us. Wouldn't it be a kick in the little fuzzy pouch, if they finish third in the NFCE an's drafted in front of us like the Cowgirls did last year!

There would be a tuon of calls again this year by fand wondering how that can happen. So many fans don't have a clue that the NFL uses two different tire break rules for thr draft and playoff/division seeding.
