Last year, it would have been a great idea.
Based on the decisions made at QB, and some of the gameday decisions and playcalling...
Is it time to rise up against the Powers That Be??
Chime in...or die!!!

We're still .500, no reason to be gloom and doom just yet. I voted, "NO".

Not sure what the fans would "occupy". Then again, if by "occupy" you mean break into the redskins offices and hang our owner out of his office window and attempt to shake some sense into him, then yes, I would adovcate such an uprising.

I voted No because 3-3 is just about what we are. Good thing is, if we improve, we could finish with a winning record, or division title.

There were no viable options at QB in a shortened FA period and with a limited training camp, drafting a QB wasn't really an option either. Too many holes this year to fix at a luxury spot.

Why on the world would you want to do that now? Snyder is finally out of personnel matters. We have good people running this team for the first time on a long time. The team is improving, it is younger, more talented, and it is the best shape it has ever been from a cap perspective since the FA began back in the mid 90s!
MS and BA have only had two seasons to improve this tesm and during both off seasons they were seriously hamstrung by the hole CBA issue.
Now, the one on capped year was a gods send and BA took full advantage of it to get out of our cap hell that we were in.
Sure, MS has had mistakes, and hasn't addressed the QB situation effectively or the OL enough either, but he and BA have done way too many good things to sure up Snyder.

Sorry, just not a fan of our owner. The way I see it is that if I took a "job" and year after year I produced results similar to what Danny boy did, it wouldn't have taken me over 10 years to quit.
And just because we have the right personnell here right now, doesn't mean that he won't revert back to his usual ways. It will take more than one year for Danny boy to earn my trust.

This has been a 20 year "rebuilding" project. Until the fanbase decides they are willing to actually ACT against the day-to-day operational system this franchise has in place, nothing is going to change. Whether it's walking out, not showing up, or something of that nature; until it happens this franchise will not get it's head on straight.

I have been saying that since about 2002 -- so thank you.

You're basing this current regime's success on 20 years of failure. Given that this offseason was shortened for rookies to practice & that the free agency period was limited, what would you have done different?

frank, given my druthers, the CBA would be VERY different. First off, it wouldn't have a salary cap, which would fix a whole lot of Washington's problems in one stroke of the pen. As for what I would have done in the situation we were presented with.... I wouldn't have brought in any rookies. Proven Veterans from similar systems only.

But you understand that this is what was done over the last 20 years and it never worked. We're doing what successful teams have done in the past and what has put them in position to be winners. See teams like Pitt, NE, etc. You HAVE to bring in rookies to create depth. You sprinkle in a few Vets to fill holes where your rookies are not ready to play and you grow as a team. You can't go from a terrible team to a GREAT team overnight. It just doesn't happen. Of course you can find some worst to first examples but building a team who can contend year in, year out, the bandaid approach doesn't work and it hasn't here after years of failure.

I understand that the biggest thing that has held this team back for the last 17 years has been that Godforsaken Socialistic Salary Cap that our braindead owner continues to vote for, to his own detriment.

The reason why there is a salary cap is to keep there a competitive balance in the NFL. As a whole, they want every team to be in play each year or at least have the opportunity to do so. While you may not agree with it, it's what's best for the NFL as a whole. I do think that if there wasn't a salary cap, the Redskins & Cowboys would both be front runners in spending. I think this is a good thing in my opinion for the NFL as a whole.

N0, at least not yet.
I still have hope that the process of rebuilding goes in the right direction. We are improving from where we were.
Had this rebellion been called up during the last weeks of Vinnie's tenure with us, I would have been the first to join though.

I'm not a fan of the NFL as a whole or the league in general. I am a fan of the Washington Redskins. I am not and never have been interested in "competitive balance".

I agree with Frank here. I thought Fanatic was on the right track until he outlined the exact gameplan we have been using for the past 20 years. We need to bring in hungry players -- the ones that want to EARN the big contract -- not the ones we sign to those contracts.

I agree with most of what you said, but since The Danny is behaving now why would you want to stir him up? Leave sleeping dogs alone.
