Mark Rypiens superbowl winning disney commercial?

I remember hearing some time ago that the Mark Rypien "I'm going to Disney World ad was not aired or possibly not even created because Rypien was "too ugly." Is this true? or am I confusing him with Jeff Hostetler of the Giants? or were they both snubbed from the Disney ad? Does anybody have details or can direct me to a website with all the info? thanks
