Last Year in Brief:

We kick OB and Rams drive to our 40 converting 4th and 1. Jackson runs for 42 yard TD 2 plays later. 7-0.

After 2 1st downs Moss fumbles at our 47 after 10 yard gain. Fumble is returned to our 3. Rams score 2 plays later. 14-0.

We drive 39 yards to rams 46 and Gano punts OB at Ram 15.

We 3-and-out them and they punt to our 36.

We drive to their 11 and settle for 3. 14-3.

Rams fumble kick return and McNabb hits Moss for 21-yard TD on next play. 14-10.

After gaining 8 yards in 6 plays Rams punt from their 31.

We drive to their 6 and settle for 3. 14-13.

Rams drive to our 1, we put up a goal-line stand then block the FG.

Score at half is 14-13.

We open 2nd half by driving to their 3 and settling for 3. 16-14.

They end up beating us 30-16. I remember feeling like we spotted them 14, knocked Jackson out, dominated, and lost. I also remember thinking our D was pretty lame and that McNabb was diasappointing inaccurate.

We need to jump on them and finish them. We need to stop settling for 3. We need to stuff Jackson and rush/hit Bradford. I think we can. I hope we do.

Thanks for the memory lane trip. It is a reminder that we need to score TDs to put this team away.

Another thing I remember about this game is the Rams had Bradford do a lot of three step drops to counter the Redskin blitz. We rarely got to him.

Rex has got to put a no turnover game together. Surely, he had at least one as a Bear QB. He needs to have one tomorrow.
