Just heard it on the radio, and yes, I listen to 106.7 in Texas all morning...

He may have tweeted it if anyone follows and can confirm.

Not really a confirmation, but he at least has the mindset that he's ready to go. Glad we've got the Monday Night game this week. Can't wait to see what this defense can do when Dirty30 is back in the lineup.

I'm like "eh" on him coming back now actually. I know he's a better safety than Reed but if he's not 100%, I don't want him back right now.
Yea its early but if we can keep doing what we're doing without him and give him a chance to get even healthier than I'm all in. However that would mean our DL and LBs will have to keep playing at a high volume as well.

I agree with you LPJ, that it's far more important for him to be 100% before he returns. No sense in rushing back and running the risk of being out the rest of the season. Just eager to see what'll happen once he's back.

I also agree, see Arian Foster for an example. I want LL available for the long haul and I hope that he's only cleared if he's truly ready.

I say play him. We need him. Its not like he's coming back from knee surgery where he need his ligaments to completely heal.

I don't think that they are fearful of any significance of re injury and I'm sure he'll be closely monitored in the game. Keep in mind that he has 10 days of practice until the game so they'll be watching him then too.

The most important thing here is that if we win, we'll be 2-0 in the division with a win vs Dallas and NYG's. That's HUGE come postseason record analysis. I don't think we'll win the division but if we're in 2nd, most likely we're a wild card team given recent history.

I wouldn't be as concerned if Reed wasn't his backup. He's just bad. Like a huge liability bad. Like throw at him and win bad.

That's all well and good but remember that this started as an achilles injury. The Hammy injury CAME FROM COMING BACK TOO EARLY.

And after the stuff that LL said about the training staff - IMO, they definitely aren't going to err anywhere but on the side of caution.

All good points indeed!! Not gonna lie, I'm really boosted to see him knock Romo out for the year since San Fran started but didn't finish him off.

Clearly NOT true!
They exploited him sure, but we WON.
He is not bad, he plays very hard, and usually smart. He lacks the physical talent to be real good, but his gaffes are still the exception not the rule. I am eager to get LL back out there, especially for The pieboys, but we can still win this one without him if prudence says wait.

How about... played and playing for the Redskins while you ain't, never did, and never will... bad.

still just sayin...

and, it's always... "for now"... just some "for nows" are longer than others... though, a career that goes longer than 3 years in the NFL is the exception.

How long has Reed played?

Yeah... he's bad.
