Atlanta held strong and took out Philly. So now we lead the East with 2-0. Pat yourselves on the back guys.

Agreed they didn't play that well today and they need to pick it up but I feel like they are a completely different team and organization than from a few years ago and its starting to show. They changed a lot last year but its starting to show this year. What I meant by turning the corner is that it is now obvious they are definitely heading in the right direction and are no longer a total joke like they have been in recent years. They've turned the corner from being a total mess into a a legitimate team/organization and it can only get better.Krisk86 wrote:I wouldn't say they turned the corner, they are waaaayyy better than the last few seasons, but that game today should have been a blowout. Too many stupid mistakes. I love being 2-0, but they can't play like that against Dallas or Philly.

How DARE you pick right!Deadskins wrote:And they did.cowboykillerzRED wrote:Ya ya EXCEPT you picked the pukes to win
That's right, baby. Right now the Skins control their own destiny; we win out, and we're in!langleyparkjoe wrote:Too bad SF couldn't beat the cows but we need to win, to heck with what the other 3 teams do.
Honestly, it is probably better Dallas won this weekend. Good teams coming off a prior week loss tend to come out much stronger than had they won the prior week.langleyparkjoe wrote:Let's enjoy it while we have it friends.. 2-0, on top of the NFC East.

GO SKINS!
Though by no means dispositive, the way that they've come back very late (AZ), in the second half when the other team had clearly seized momentum (AZ ), to close out the first half to wrest control away (NY), gotten crucial stops and long scoring drives when needed, I'd say the chances are good they respond well. I know many, if not all, have seen some degree of the attitude change around here. To quote the best Disney movie of all time "Attitude reflects leadership" I think they'll handle losses just fine. (which in and of itself is such a refreshing feeling)markshark84 wrote:Honestly, it is probably better Dallas won this weekend. The fact is that the Skins have won games against two solid teams -- they may not be top NFL teams, but they are good nonetheless.
For the first time in a very long time, the team appears focused and confident. However, the ultimate test is how a team rebounds from a loss -- which have yet to see.

That's one test I - don't need / don't want - to take ... especially this coming Monday Night!markshark84 wrote: However, the ultimate test is how a team rebounds from a loss -- which have yet to see.
umm, yeah... I'll pass on that, too.rick301 wrote:That's one test I - don't need / don't want - to take ... especially this coming Monday Night!markshark84 wrote: However, the ultimate test is how a team rebounds from a loss -- which have yet to see.
To hell with that. We're going to win the East this year!SkinsJock wrote:We're not going to go undefeated - that's for sure
we just need to see these guys continue to play with an attitude & desire to do whatever it takes
be great to take down this pukes bunch, on Moday Night Football, for all the world to see (EVEN in Australia) & go 3-0
we are remaking this franchise - there are still a lot of issues but .... BEAT THE PUKES
next year we'll be looking to win the NFC EAST - right now I just want to win this game
