It's Dallas Week!

While we bask in the glow of our first 2-0 start since 2007, let us kick off Dallas Week!

The Redskins haven't gone 3-0 since 2005. Part of that 3-0 start was "The Monday Night Miracle" Redskins beat the Cowboys in Dallas by scoring 14 points in the last three minutes of the game to win 14-13.

Remember that QB was Mark Brunell to Santana Moss both times

GO 'SKINS!

I'll never forget those two TD's. I was going to go to bed and decided to stay awake to watch the last few minutes. I'm glad I did and I hope we whoop them again. Homo has a broken rib so maybe he won't play. Who knows.

Me neither. I had a house full of people that night and I was down to my best friend and my (then) girlfriend with five minutes to go. Everyone else went home. We die-hards stayed until the bitter end.

I called everyone that left (most of whom didn't believe me at first) and told them to turn on the TV.

I had to marry a girl that could stick out that kind of game with me! :D

I had worn my Brunell Jersey all day that day and then I had to sit and watch the game with three Dallas fans. About half way through the 4th qtr I was getting up to leave when one of them told me to stay because anything could happen. Then the miracle happened. I think that is my most memorable Redskins game to this day. And everytime I recall that game I can't help but think what would have happened if Parcells had have just kicked the extra point instead of going for two.

That won't matter. Kitna actually looked better than Homo did last night. The Skins don't need to worry about who will be QBing. They just need to force the issue on D, and quit wasting scoring opportunities when the O gets inside the redzone. They do that and they win this game!

What game are you guys remembering? It was week 2 of '05, and the Cowpies scored 2 FGs and 1 TD. No 2 point try.

Here's my story:

It was late in the 4th quarter with the Skins trailing 0-13, when my phone rings. On the other end is a Cowpie fan who is a friend of a friend, and he's calling from my friends house where they are watching the game. He starts in to trash talking. About that time, Brunell connects with Santana for the first score, and I immediately hang up the phone. After the game ends, I call back and say: 'Hey man, we got cut off. What was that you were saying?' He will never live it down!

What's the deal with Romo? I heard fractured ribs on the radio this morning. Will he/can he play with that? I'd kind of like to see Orakpo take him down.

He played with them last night. You have to figure he'll go. But maybe not.

I don't think so. They're gonna hurt more as they start to heal. He was on pain meds last night too.

Depends on which rib(s) is/are involved. If it doesn't interfere with throwing motion, they may let him play with a flak jacket on. I hope so, the sacks and knockdowns will take a far greater toll.

I am encouraged by the fact that it took a come from behind OT finish for the pieboys to beat a VERY WEAK 49er team. I hate playing in Dallas, but hopefully we can get an early lead and send the piefans home in disgust by mid 3rd quarter. If its close at the end, I'll be pulling out the Romo voodoo doll and my best set of B&G stick pins.

With the pressure mounting on Jerry Jones to deliver a winner, this Dallas team looks like it's ready to snap like one of Tony Romo's ribs. Even their fans are running out of patience:

I haven't been this proud of the Skins in a long time! Not only are they off to a nice start, but they're playing with a definitive confidence and drive that I haven't seen consistently displayed from the B&G in well over a decade.

They could've just as easily given up yesterday, down late in the fourth quarter (last year's team would've probably lost that game). Instead, the offense goes for it on 4th down and get's a TD! The defense then follows suit by forcing a turnover ending the final Cardinals' drive.

I'd love to see the Skins show up on Monday and send a clear message on primetime tv that they are in fact for real.

Does anyone know of a site or phone number to call that I can get Redskins flyers and annoying free junk mail. My neighbor has decided to fly his Dallas flag.

Fractured rib and a punctured lung. Miles Austin is out with a bad hammy. Redskins will be playing them just at the right time.

This brings back good memories from last year. They should show it to Tony Romo. The felon didn't play for three weeks after that nice sandwich.
