Newly cut Free agents the Redskins should consider

1. Igor Olshansky - DL - just cut from the Cowboys, Olshansky is a veteran 3-4 DE and with Jarvis on IR, Olshansky would be good depth. He lost his starting job to new free agent Coleman. Olshansky's salary was too high for a backup so the Cowboys cut him. He's been a starter his whole career for pretty good defenses in SD and Dal.

2. Joselio Hanson CB - just cut by the Eagles, he is considered a very effective nickel CB, but was cut due to the Eagles logjam at CB.

3. Ryan Cook G/T - former starter for the Vikings and brother to Redskins OL Eric Cook. Redskins need a backup guard after releasing Artis Hicks and Ryan has started 40 games in his career. Assuming he could pick up the ZBS more quickly with his brother as tutor.

4. Tyrone McKenzie - ILB - was drafted 3rd round by the Patriots in 2009. he tore his ACL and was released the following year. Bucs picked him up and planned to make him their starting MLB this year. He lost the job to rookie Mason Foster and was cut. He has decent size, 245lbs. and would add some depth at ILB.

5. Graham Harrell - QB - Packers like Harrell and were supposedly torn about cutting him. It's no secret that they want him on their Practice Squad if he clears waivers. He has a nice arm, and decent athleticism. If Shanahan is looking for a developmental 3rd string QB, Harrel might be the right fit.

Nice list, fleetus. I'd like to see us get some more help on both lines. CB would be nice depth, too. Not sure we need to sign anyone at ILB or QB.

Olshansky would be an upgrade over Scott & probably Golston.

I'm satisfied with our CB depth, stay with youth.

Don't know much about Cook, but we do need interior OL depth.

McKenzie is an intersting player, but we don't need another LB.

Harrell is a possibility. I'd like to have a QB under the age of 30 on the team.
