You're thinking of retirement, but maybe you should try: CFL, Arena, UFL, futbol....whatever...lol

Don't give up so easily....keep fighting....!!!

Malcolm Kelly - WR - Redskins Released by the Redskins on Tuesday, free agent WR Malcolm Kelly indicated that he may consider retirement.
The former second-round pick just couldn't stay off the shelf in four training camps with the Skins. "As much as I love this thing, I’m not going to go out here and kill myself," Kelly said. "It’s one thing to have one injury, man, but to have as many as I’ve had, it’s to the point where it is what it is." Source: Washington Times Aug 31 - 6:04 PM

This was going to be his fourth year already? Man, time flies.

Must be nice to wear sweatpants for four years and be in a position to retire comfortably.

He will get picked up by someone. Too much size & speed but only when he's healthy. He'll probably sign with someone around mid-season on a one year deal @ vet minimum and hope to play for a new longer term deal.

Kelly mentioned that he's had issues with trainers/team Dr.s here. You may say, of course he did b/c he's fragile. Keep in mind that this isn't the first player to have an issue with our medical staff.

To claim it here is extremely self serving though. The problem was I'm frail's not going to help him get another opportunity.

I hope he gives it another go. Sad to see him so dejected.
