Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth might not be long for New England according to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post.
One NFL executive familiar with the Patriots ways told me he believes one or both of the big name acquisitions will be cut before the season starts. The front office man thinks coach Bill Belichick will use the controversial players to help control and send a message to his locker room.
I didn't see this posted anywhere so I thought that I would post it. Not sure what anybody thinks about this but I'm not surprised with Haynesworth, but I would be surprised if Ochocinco is released. From what I have been hearing he was doing really good.

The Pats are one crazy team for sure. I personally think its just a smoke screen and they'll keep all three of them.

I hope that he makes the roster - NOT - Belicheat only keeps players that can help the team - Fat Al is done

I don't buy it, at least not both of them. I don't see the Pats giving up draft picks just to cut someone for the purpose of making a point. If they are cut, it would be due to performance in camp I would think.

One thing for sure - Belicheat NEVER 'uses' players for 'statements' or to make a point - that's media BS
IF either player is let go it's SOLELY because the cheater does not think that player can help his team

One other thing, IF Kraft's wife were here this stupid fat slob would not be on the NE roster
http://eye-on-football.blogs.cbssports. ... 8/31470776
Mrs Kraft would not have let Belicheat even look at him

And this just in
Haynesworth cops a guilty plea to avoid a trial

this case has a lot of bad vibes for both the prosecutors and the fat boy
