Dropped his asking price by about $5M, and I'm willing to bet he'll let his agent go with in a year

Never fear, you can't buy a championship, right?

Where are they finding all the cap room to sign all these guys. I don't recall them dumping very many players.

I'm going to laugh when he and Asomugha run roughshod over the 'Skins offense TWICE this year, and for several years to come. Two guys this team should have been targeting, driving their helmet into John Beck's ribs and returning Grossman INT's for TD's will be such an interesting sight.

It could be a one-year, $4 million deal if Eagles cut bait after '11.

The eagles are all in. This is Andy Reid's referendum year. He has pushed all his chips in the middle. Super Bowl or bust. It is going to be a long year in the nfc east. But, my money is on Vick repressing and/or defenses figuring him out. I wish we had signed this guy.

They overpaid (even at $4M for one year) for a guy that can't stay on the field, and no longer can rush the passer.

Yeah they won't show up in the fourth quarter, and will be on South Beach when the playoffs start

Man, dude. The Eagles are gettin it done. I hate to say this but I actually believe that they will get deep into the playoffs possibly the Super Bowl.

5 yrs 25 mil for a 30 yr DT that has missed 17 games in the last 3 YRs. to go along with a bunch of other 30+ yr old guys. And they have no LBs.....

Macklin is unable to practice and they don't know when he will because he has mono, DeSean Jackson won't even show up because he wants a new contract (by the time he comes in they'll be broke), and when Vick gets hurt (and he will) they'll have a headcase under center.

1niksder, you're right about what will likely happen in Philly... and while I hate to admit this... they'll still probably finish above the Redskins in the standings this year.

I'm starting to wonder if they hired Vinny as their GM.

The EAGLES are WHO we THINK they are! A Super Bowl WINLESS franchise! That's why we take the DARN field. Now, if you want to CROWN 'em? Then CROWN their A$$! :)

Someone needs to do one of those "Hitler finds out (insert team) signed (insert free agent)" youtube videos.

Well played, red.

+1 - Man oh man - this FO has done great so far during a VERY hectic free agency
we did not need this injury prone guy AND we did not need a 30 year old CB

this Redskins franchise needs to continue to build for the long term

a big thanks to the Eagles for taking these 2 players
good luck with the off season trophy - this is your season, it doesn't get any better than this

so who cares - we are not there yet and are not building a team that can be better than the Eagles this season

we are building a franchise that will consistently compete at a high level each and every week
we are looking long term not short term

we are looking at having a consistently competitive product on the field, hopefully as soon as next season
and for all the seasons that follow

we already tried the approach the Eagles are taking - that is not the way to do things
