The Steelers have agreed to a deal with kicker Shaun Suisham.
Suisham stabilized the kicking game last season after Jeff Reed`s struggles led the Steelers to make a change.
Suisham made 14 of 15 field goal attempts last season after the Steelers signed him in the middle of November. Suisham, 29, missed two fields during the postseason, including a 52-yarder in the Super Bowl.

NO
I thought we let him go because he was not a reliable kicker AT THAT TIME
are you suggesting that we just hold onto players when they're OBVIOUSLY not doing what they're paid to do in the hopes that they might start doing it again? - good luck with that sort of decision making

He won't last long.
At least Gano has a leg and potentially can make a 50 yarder Also, Gano is younger and has a chance to improve. Shwishy is still the same as he was with the Cowboys and with us.
When it comes to wishing we still had shwishy, I say no. I'll stick with Gano.

+1 Gano would be better with a better LS.

It does raise a quandary, doesn't it jock? Any NFL player is just being cut from the Redskins away from the Pro-Bowl. So do we hold onto them and make them suck or cut them and make them great?
