On the day they're preparing to deal Donovan McNabb, Redskins reached agreement with another QB, former Jet Kellen Clemens on a 1-year deal.

Decent back-up...guess he was the back-up plan if we didn't get Leinart.

Redskins agreed to terms with QB Kellen Clemens on a one-year contract.
We couldn't feel sorrier for Redskins fans.

It's a good bet that coach Mike Shanahan loved all three of Clemens, John Beck, and Rex Grossman coming out of college. Since entering the NFL, though, the three QBs have been turnover machines with no semblance of a feel for the pass rush. Clemens figures to be a third-stringer, which is exactly what we would have said about Beck or Grossman before they landed in Washington.

WTH! We could not put all 3 of those QB's together and make a good one. I am all glad he liked them out of college, but that does not make a hill of beans in the NFL. Hell ask Heath Shuler ](*,)

I'm glad Rotoworld feels bad for us. We are expected to start the season with John Beck as the QB...

I'm curious if this means they are not going after Matt Leinart?

John Beck Rex Groosman and Kellen Clemens ... The only thing I can imagine making this better is if Shanny and son quit and Dan Snyder sold the team.

Our qb group reminds me of the first year under Spurrier, when our qbs were directives as cheep and available.

What? You aren't impressed by his career 59.7 passer rating?
