Hey not sure where to post this, but me and my wife are coming to DC for week 2 vs the Cardinals, and Im wondering if anyone can give me any tips for game day. Is there usually people tailgating before the games. Can you bring alcohol into parking lot ( or on the metro for that matter)? Any tips as fars as how early to be or cool spots to hang out pre/post game??? Know any good spots to dump a body if the skins lose 38-6? you know things like that.

*pickin up the DMV banner*... Hey Spenser, glad to hear you and the Mrs are coming to the game, very excited to hear that!
- Tip #1... Everyone around you wearing our colors, consider them friends. Ex.. one game I went to, I had ZERO DOLLARS and just walked around and yelled out loud "I'M BROKE, CAN ANYONE SPARE A DRINK?".. and I recieved about 13 invitations from people in the lot to come and get a drink. (I took advantage of that)
- Tip #2... I know THN used to have a get together but I don't know if they do it anymore. I'll be at that game myself and I usually meet up with friends in the Green Lot who tailgate.. I'll pm you my phone number and you can call me day of so we can meetup if you'd like.
- Tip #3... Alcohol.. Not only can you bring alcohol, it's ENCOURAGED!!! LOL!! If you guys are taking the metro the whole way in, just use your descrecion (sp?).. like, I wouldn't take a swig if a cop is in plain view. LOL.. but I always drink on the metro, it isn't that serious here unless you can't handle it and act like a fool.
- Tip #4... The game starts @ 1pm, I will probably be there around 10-11am. That gives us enough time to drink and eat something to pad your stomach. I do recommend you drink as much as you can outside because a beer inside is $8 for one. There are places close by you can go to before the game like a bar but that's totally up to you. (walking distance, not close, but it is walking distance)
- Tip #5... After the game you can go to any of the nearby restaurants and relax as most of them have bars.
- Tip #6... The dumping a body thing, I actually know of a few places but we'll continue that conversation offline. LOLOL
Hope that helps bro!

Right on my friend, thanks for the info. And yes that would be ccol if you want to PM me your number. I think it would be cool to meet some of the people from here and have some drinks! I'll be rocking the burgundy and gold so no worries there. I'm thinking beer will be tough to try to carry a large amount on the metro, but I would be more than happy to bring a few bottles of something. Anything you like in particular? We are very laid back and like to have a good time, so I'm sure will have a good time and Thanks again for the response! Oh... Im assuming your name is Joe?

I'm trying to go but I won't know until Sunday morning. Hopefully Stubhub will still have some seats left. If not I'm sure I can always get it from one of those guys on Landover Road.

Have fun fellas, my only word of advise is to get there to tailgate when the gates open....4 hours prior to kickoff. Nothing like cracking open a beer at 0900!!!

The guy who posted right after you is OBVIOUSLY trying to find someone to party with on Sunday and you're ignoring him... what is wrong with you man? Look... he has two posts, he doesn't know anyone here yet - say hi to him and show him how we in Redskins Nation bleed burgundy and gold with our brethren.
It's easy... watch this...
Hi Matthewrc - welcome to the board!

Hi Matthewrc - welcome to the board!
Thanks Bro! We had a close call today. Our parking pass accidently got delivered to the wrong address and we had to go hunt it down at the post office(which was already closed!) but we got it! Cant wait for tomorrow

Our parking pass just says Green Lot 4. It doesnt say "B4" or "F5" or anything like that. It just has a big 4 on it. Is that normal? Where will that let me park?
Thanks!

The 4 is for game 4. Last weeks had a 3 on it.

Correct MDSKINSFAN, there are a total of 10 home games including the 2 preseason games. Whatever color lot you have you can park in any section in that color.
Hopes this helps mattewrc.
Do us proud brother and welcome to the best damn Redskins site on the internets!!!
