Here's a quote from Peter King in SI.com about why the Cowboys want Drew Henson.
2. I think one of the bonuses the Cowboys got in signing Drew Henson was brain-related. He scored an impressive 42 on his Wonderlic test, which the NFL gives to all prospective players. It's a 50-question intelligence and personality examination, taken against the clock. I was once told that a score of 19 is the average for firefighters, 26 for teachers ... and anything above 40 means that mastering an NFL playbook ought to take about seven minutes.
Ok, he's smart, but I hope L.A. will crush him and get his brains scrambled.

That is why Q Carter is on his way out.He is about is smart is bubba Cump and talks like him to.I like fried shrimp.boiled shrimp,shimp pasta,steak and shrimp ect ect....I think you guys know what I am.

oH and combine that with the fact that he has a strong arm, very good on short passes, quick feet and is very mature and very studious. You have a real good QB.

and played 8 games in college like 10 years ago...sounds like all the cowboys FO people scored in the single digits on that same test

I get the Gump reference Tom and agree.
I don't care if he's a Harvard Law grad. Let's see what he can do on the field before we praise DH.
Lining up behind a center in the pros is enough to make many smart men get dumb real quick.

In general, says Wonderlic, "The closer you are to the ball, the higher your score."
This assessment roughly corresponds to the averages revealed, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, by an NFL personnel man in Paul Zimmerman's "The New Thinking man's Guide to Pro Football," which are:
Offensive tackles: 26
Centers: 25
Quarterbacks: 24
Guards: 23
Tight Ends: 22
Safeties: 19
Middle linebackers: 19
Cornerbacks: 18
Wide receivers: 17
Fullbacks: 17
Halfbacks: 16
The average scores in other professions look like this:
Chemist: 31
Programmer: 29
Newswriter: 26
Sales: 24
Bank teller: 22
Clerical Worker: 21
Security Guard: 17
