I'm sure it'll be fun. I think there are a lot of Skins fan's in Canada. I know BossHogg (guy who started this website) hails from Canada but not sure exactly where.

Good afternoon Red_One43:

Thank You. I live In K-W (Kitchener-Waterloo) About an hour away from Toronto. Believe it or not, I'm not a big CFL fan. Never have been. In my house growing up it was always about the NFL. My father (R.I.P.) had always tried to get me to become a Packers fan, but I fought him tooth & nail, LOL. For me it was always about John Riggins, Art Monk, Darrel Green & of course the hogs.

I've seen the Skins play several times, but obviously never in my own back yard. Typically I don't want time to go by quickly, but in this instance, October can't come fast enough.

Good afternoon frankcal20.

I believe that Bosshogg hails from London, Ontario. That's about an hour away from me but in the opposite direction from Toronto. I'm basically in the middle of the two.

As far as the Skins having a strong fan base here...I wouldn't know. I only know of another person who's a Skins fan (& I use that term loosely). Around my neck of the woods it seems like every other person I see or meet is a cow$hit fan. It seems like I'm the only person who represents Redskins Nation. Oh well, even if I am the only person around my neck of the woods who represents, I REPRESENT IN STYLE!!! with full head dress included :D (not literally).

I am familiar with K-W and Cambridge and Guelph. I saw the snowbirds at the Waterloo Regional Airport. I know that Gretzky is from Brantford, Ontario and that singing dude is from Stratford, Ontario.

I did a driving trip from Woodstock to New Brunswick to Ontario and hit lots of cities in Ontario - London, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto. I joke that I started in Waterloo, N.B. and ended in Waterloo, Ontario (didn't really end there but passed through).

I enjoy going to Canada.

It's a small world isn't it? Just last year I too saw the snow birds at the Waterloo regional Airport. It was humid as HE_L!!!

My mother lived in Stratford for many years & I worked there as well for about 5 or so years. & You're thinking of Justin Beiber. We like to refer to him as "the turd from Stratford".

I have many friends who live in Guelph & in Cambridge. Personally, I think K-W is cleaner & prettier. Although real estate is cheaper in Cambridge.

Next time you want to make the trip up here, send me a private message, I'll give you my address, we'll meet & have some of our strong Canadian beer. It's always good to have a beer or 12 with another fellow "Die hard".

I should have been wearing my Redskin shirt and you, yours. We would have surely met.

Wow, small world indeed. I did go through Stratford. Stopped a supermarket called Zehrs. I didn't get into the tri-cities ( did I get that right) so wouldn't know which was cleaner, but I was shocked by what I saw in Hamilton, it looked like the Oil cities of Beaumont, Texas and Lake Charles, Louisiana. Did enjoy the hospitality thoughout the trip. I enjoy traveling the back roads and the small town folks. That was a trip to remember.

I will do that.

Mississauga? Isn't that the city with the 120 year old lady as the mayor? :) Ok, she isn't that old, but she's 90!

LOL...good old Zehrs, I do some of my groceries there, although it's the most expensive grocery stores around. It's funny because that's where I landed my first job as a kid.

Yeah, I guess you could call it the tri-cities but in actuality, K-W is the biggest part of the tri-cities.

I'm not surprised to hear your response about Hamilton. People here feel the same way. It's a steel town that has been neglected for as long as I can remember. The only time I go there is when there's an event of some kind.
